You were laughing at a story that both Umi and Keigo were telling about one of their weirdest missions when you heard footsteps approaching you from behind. You were guessing it was either Saburo or Niko since they were still getting ready.
It was just Saburo.
"Hey. What took you so long?" You asked arching your eyebrow in question.
Saburo nervously massaged his neck while avoiding eye contact with you, "I uh...kind of walked in on Niko taking a shower." He straightened up, then suddenly shifted his expression into a serious one, "I didn't know our bathroom is connected to Niko and Keigo's."
Small gasps were heard behind you from your friends, "Just make sure you knock before you walk into any bathrooms here." Keigo explained, clearly troubled by the situation.
As if on cue, Niko sauntered into the room behind Saburo, massaging her towel between her hair to dry it. "You guys talking about me?" She smirked.
"Yeah, we are," Yui confessed with an unamused look. "Heard you were giving out free shows in the bathroom!"
With a scoff, Niko plopped herself at the end of your side of the couch, "are we going to get this game started or what?"
"Right," Yui said as she got up, "so here are the rules of the game," she picked up a red party cup from the center table. "It's basically getting the dirt on everyone in here by playing Never Have I Ever. I want juicy questions, and people better drink if they've done it!"
There was an array of different drinks grouped on the wooden table, multiple red cups stacked atop each other sitting idly by. You inspected the drinks, looking for anything that didn't contain alcohol in it. "I'll just have some sparkling cider," you explained picking up the green-tinted glass bottle.
"Y/n is clearly more of a rule-follower than I am with this whole pregnancy thing." Niko giggled as she leaned forward to grab a beer bottle to pour into the cup.
You paused looking up at Umi and Yui who had their mouths open in shock before giant grins painted over them. "Y/n, you're pregnant?!" Yui squealed, her body bouncing in place.
"Yeah," you smiled bashfully, feeling slightly gloomy since you weren't able to be the one to announce it.
"Omg, I'm so happy for you!!" Umi rose her cup filled with wine up.
You smiled gratefully at them, ecstatic that your friends were supportive of your situation.
"Are we playing a game or what?" Saburo complained out loud, groaning in annoyance as his body slouched back on the sofa.
Aiko perked up, remembering her hosting, "well, alright then. Let's get the dirt!"
With that, the game started steadily with each person asking questions in rotation. In the beginning, the questions started easy, consisting of the topic of high school schemes and stupid young-adult life hacks. But as time ticked by, the questions started getting riskier.
