Chapter 11

ATHENA'S POV

Isang buwan na kami ngayon ni Jayce. Our relationship is quite good, sabi nga nila bago pa raw kaya ganito pa.

"Ano na? Okay ka na" I asked Gayle she's shaking because of nervousness.

Today is also the pageant, this whole week is our Intramurals day so technically all students can do whatever they want to do.

"Kinakabahan talaga ako eh" saad n'ya habang nanginginig ang kamayng hawak ang papel. I want to laugh because of her reaction but I don't want her to be mad.

"Sino ba kasing pvtang inang nag-suggest na ako ang representative ng section natin?!" I scanned my classmates to see if may magbabakasakaling sumagot but none of them tried to open their mouth they just kept it shut.

"Don't stress yourself. Just relax" I said and gladly she calm down herself.

"Malay ba naming mapipili ka sa elimination" mataray at medyo mahina ang boses ng babae ngunit hindi ito nakaligtas sa aming tenga.

I saw LG's face turns to madly red. Biglang hinanap ng mga mata n'ya kung sino ang may sabi nun. Fvck! Please don't make a scene right now.

"Anong sabi mo?!" nakatayo na ngayon sa harap nung kaklase namin si LG. "Did you just hear what you said, huh?!" giit niyang tugon.

Nakita ko kung paano yumuko yung babae.

"Gayle, I said relax don't make a scene right now please" pangungumbinsi ko sa kanya at hinahatak palayo doon sa kaklase namin.

"Instead of saying those words might choose to just shut your mouth. Alam mo kung paano magalit si Gayle" pagka-usap ni Sky doon.

Ginabayan kong umupo si LG. Kitang kita ko kung paano n'ya kinuyom ang kanyang kamao agad ko naman itong hinawakan at ngumiti sa kanya.

"Calm yourself, it will turn out fine. Hmm?" I said to lift up her mood but she rolled her eyeballs.

JAYCE'S POV

May iba akong nagugustohan dito at palihim ko itong nililigawan. Hindi ko talaga kaya ang malayo. Madami kasing bumubuong tanong sa aking isipan kagaya ng 'Baka may iba siya doon' 'Baka niloloko lang ako nito'. Pero tang-ina ako yung gumagawa ng mga nasa isipan ko lang.

Walang kaalam-alam si Athena nito at yung pinsan niyang nandito na nag-aaral. Natuto na ako sa nakaraang karelasyon ko na LDR rin kaya mahirap ng magtiwala.

"Mas mabuting piliin mo yung malapit bro kesa sa malayo" saad ni Novie. Humingi ako ng opinyon n'ya kaso lalo lang ito nagpapagulo sa isipan ko eh.

"Tsaka kilalang kilala na namin si Yam. Si Athena hindi pa namin lubosang nakikilala" sabat naman ni Meah. Hayst! Nakakalito na! Bakit ba ako pumasok sa ganitong relasyon?! Fvck!

"May point naman sila Jayce" pagsang-ayon ni Honey. Ano pa bang magagawa ko? Mas may tiwala rin ako dito sa malapit.

Pa'no ko kaya 'to sasabihin? Sana nga lang tanggap niya.

JESTER'S POV

We supported Gayle. She execute it well. It's almost 7pm at nandito parin kami sa campus waiting for announcing the winners.

Darius, Sherwin, Athena, and Delius was on the stage setting their instruments up. They're the last band that will perform on this night.

Sino vocalist nila? Wala bang kakanta sa kanila? They are now settled and all of them have microphone in front.  Are they all going to sing?

Darius played the guitar. Sherwin is on the drums. Delius was placed on the beatbox and Athena was on the keyboard.

They all started the beat and it is so good to hear. Lumapit si Darius sa mic na nasa harapan n'ya. He's the main vocalist here while the three just a second voice.

"Am I real?
Do the words I speak before
Make you feel
That the love I have for you
Will see no ending?"

I saw how Sky twinkled her eyes. Ever since 1st year high school she's admiring Darius. Well marami namang nagkakagusto kay Darius but he's not really into relationship.

"Here" I handed her my handkerchief. I saw a tear falling from her eyes. Does she loves that man too much?

"Thanks" she said with a sweet smile and her attention goes back to them.

They sang in chorus. The crowd goes wild here. Wala na akong ibang maririnig kundi mga hiyawan lang ng mga tao at meron ring sumasabay sa kanta.

The candidates were now back on the stage. I saw a confident smile plastered on Gayle's face. Maybe she accepted what might going to happen this night.

"LG will surely win" Cendrick said at lahat kami magto-tropa ay nasa kanya nakatuon ang atensyon.

"How can you say so?" Andrei questioned Cendrick with brows furrowed.

"Well based on my observations. Si LG lang naman ang may maayos na sagot. Maayos naman lahat ng pagkakasagot pero para sa akin si LG talaga eh, straight to the point." Cendrick explained and we all agreed on that.

Photogenic Award, Best in Sports Attire, and Best in Long Gown that's what LG got.

"2nd runner up goes to... What level?" asked by the host. Everyone is now tensed on the outcome.

A lot shouted every level they choose.

"It's from... 2nd level" everyone clapped. And the announcing went on. Sky and Athena hold their hand tight.

"Our Ms. Intramurals for S.Y 2018-2019 is no other than... From... The 3rd level" Athena and Sky jumped in joy. While the rest of us just shouted and clapped. The long wait is worth it. This only means celebration.

ATHENA'S POV

Last night was indeed fun but I didn't enjoy that much cause I found out something on Jayce's account. I asked her about what I saw and it feels like iniiba n'ya ang topic. Is she hiding something from me huh?

Night came at wala akong ginawa gaano kanina kasi wala pa kaming laro. All I did was just to think of that stupid conversation I saw on her account.

I asked her again about that habang ginagamit ko rin ang account niya sa isang cellphone ko. She said it's nothing but when another chat head conversation just popped up and to my surprise I just found out the truth.

May nililigawan siyang iba doon. Agad akong nakipaghiwalay sa kanya. What's new?! I always ended up being cheated. Nakakasawa na. Wala na ba talagang matino d'yan? Fvck!
