ZARNIAH'S POV

Buo na ang desisyon ko. Wala na 'tong atrasan.

Pumunta ako sa study room ng bahay namin. I want to talk to my mom. Kumatok muna ako sa pintuan at binuksan ito.

"Mom?" I sit on the couch.

"Yes?" she's busy reading a book. "Tapos ka na bang mag study?"

"Opo. I just came here to have a permission from you" pinaglalaruan ko na lang ang mga daliri ko. Kinakabahan ako sa posibleng sagot ni mommy.

"About what?" I heave a sigh.

"Uhmm.. I.. want.. to.." she looked at me directly.

Fvck! Pa'no na 'to?

"I want to hire a private investigator" mabilis na sabi ko habang nakapikit ang mga mata.

"Napag-usapan na natin 'to noon anak" ito talaga ang palagi niyang sagot.

"I will pay 'mmy. May savings naman ako eh" pagpupumilit ko sa kanya.

"Zarniah. Don't waste your money for stupidity" alam ko'ng galit na siya. Pero nanaig parin ang kagustohan ko.

"But 'mmy, I won't waste my money just for stupidity. I want to know my other mom. Please let me" namumuo na ang mga luha sa aking mga mata.

"I told you before--" I cut her off.

"Please" I said while crying and covering my face.

I don't want to see her that I cry.

Lumuhod ito sa harapan ko. Pilit inaalis ang mga kamay ko sa aking mukha.

"Love please don't cry. I won't let you to do that ever" she wiped my tears.

"I badly want to see her mom"

"Just let her found out the truth. Ayokong magsusumiksik tayo sa buhay niya anak. Gusto ko'ng makitang siya ang naghahanap ng paraan para makasama tayo" I understandingly nod.

Now I know why my mom won't allow me to do that.

"Nanay? Where's mom?" I asked my lola.

"Maagang umalis apo. May importante sigurong inasikaso. Your mom already prepared your meal" she smiled.

"Thank you nanay" she kiss my forehead.

"Ubosin mo 'yan ah. Si Jayce na ang maghahatid sa'yo. Mauna na ako apo" I bid my goodbye to my lola.

I saw Mama walking blankly towards our kitchen. What's her problem? Maybe she has fight on her girl. My mom told me not to meddle anyone's problem.
