ATHENA'S POV

Mabilis lumipas ang isang linggo. Hindi pa bumabalik si Jayce kasi may aasikasohin parin siya. But she kept me updated patungkol sa mga nangyayari sa araw niya. Nagtatanong rin naman siya sa akin.

My very own law firm are now filled with amazing prosecutors, judges, defenders, and lawyers. I named it 'Legal Legends'. On the other hand, Maurice is taking a bar and licensure exam. She said that she still wants to work with me.

Iba na ang secretary ko pero si Maurice ang pumili nito. Parehong pareho sila ng quality at standards ni Maurice.

Someone knocked on my door.

"Come in" I said as I am busy reviewing some cases.

"Do I have to come here all the time when there's a slot for judge? It is suitable for you Athena" palagi na lang ako kinukumbinsi ni Vannes na tanggapin ang offer but I keep on refusing it.

"You know my answer for that Judge Senieza" napabuntong hininga na lang ito.

"Sayang naman kasi Athena. I mean your great when handling a case but I'd like to see you more than that. Sabi nga natin noon, if we will be a successful lawyer we proceed to be judges" mahabang lintaya niya.

Ewan ko ba, 'di ko kasi maisip ang sarili ko'ng nakaupo sa gitna at nagdidikta sa mga tao. I can see myself fighting against the crime.

"Pwede namang mag-iba 'yon" I make myself comfortable at my seat.

"Hindi na kita kukulitin Athena. Anyways, did you received the invitation for the reunion of our batch?" Huh? Meron ba?

"I'll check on it later" I said then he nods.

Hindi nagtagal ay nagpaalam na siya sa akin. Being a judge is so tiring. Kaya nga sobrang busy na no'n eh.

At last, magkakasama na naman kami magto-tropa. For sure, Juliana will capture everyone's attention in the said event. She's now an in demand actress. It's funny how she told me that she wants to be a model pero lampa naman.

7pm usually ako matatapos sa training ko. Tama lang rin kasi ginagabi na sina Zarniah sa training nila. Nalalapit na ang interschool meet nila. Hope Jayce would come.

Bumibisita ako sa organization para mag-training ng physical ko. When it comes to shooting, pumupunta ako palagi sa shooting ground ni Papa.

He let me train in his place. Marami nga akong nakakalaban roon kasi gusto niyang handa ako sa kung ano mang posibleng mangyari sa mission.

"How's training?" I asked Zarniah while I'm driving, on the way home.

"Super tiring mom. Our coach offered me to be a team captain of our team" she said while making herself comfortable.

"You deserve it love" I said while I'm focused on the road.

"I know mom but a lot of seniors have the potential" she seems worried.

"Is there a problem ba?" I asked her baka kasi inaaway na siya.

"Wala naman but I shouldn't accept the offer right?" gusto ko mang tumutol sa sinabi n'ya but she knows already the right thing to do.
