I Fell in Love with a Vampire

Chapter 16

I gots no school tomorrow 😌 meaning I can write more. I'm still using this as a distraction from the things wrong in my life. Also I think this book might be coming to an end soon. I have 2 ideas as to issues with Emma and I think once that's over, the entire book will be.

I watched Tyler as he peacefully slept on his soft bed. I was sitting next to him with my hands in his resting on his chest. The door slowly creaked open and I sighed when I saw carlisle.

"How is he?" Carlisle asks quietly. We desperately attempt to keep in down to avoid waking him up. He's completely healed but overwhelmed with everything that happened this morning. Yep, you heard me. It's currently 10 pm at night. The moons high in the dark blue sky with a shimmering light dancing around us.

"He's fine, just sleeping." I answer softly with yet another sigh. He senses my tense form and changes his blank expression to a look of concern.

"What's wrong? You know you can talk to me." He comforts. We sit on the edge of the bed, still trying not to be too loud and make too much movement. I sigh and look at the floor. I don't really know how to put what I'm feeling into words.

"I'm just worried that Matt, Jay, and Caspian will hurt him. Completely. Vampires may be immortal but they're not indestructible." I point out. He nods his head in understanding and I change the subject. "So what did you do with Adrian?" I add curiously. I can see he was effected by the sudden change of topic of discussion but goes with it anyway.

"I tied him up in his room so he won't get out." He answers. Immediately my mind travels elsewhere and I find myself laughing. He sends me a confused look and I contain myself to explain. "I didn't think you were that kinky." I say and he instantly sends me a glare. I respond with more laughter and hear a grunt. I look at Carlisle and raise an eyebrow but hear another and quickly realize it's not him. I turn my attention to the idiot laying on the bed. He's propped up, eyes open, and confused.

"Uh.... hi?" He says. Carlisle goes to leave but Tyler abruptly stops him but calling his name. He orders him to get his ass back over here and Carlisle obeys with a chuckle and rolls his eyes.

"Where's Adrian?" He asks but I know he demanded to know. Carlisle fills him in and Tyler's eyes burn with anger. But I also see guilt. Guilt because we continued knowing vampires were in the house. Guilt because instead of stopping ourselves, Adrian ruined things between me and my brothers. We ruined things between me and my brothers.

Tyler silently gets off the bed ignoring the confused looks Carlisle and I send him. He walks out the door and I hear a thud. Carlisle and I take off, him wrapping his arms around me and using vampire speed knowing I'm human. We follow the sound, well more like Carlisle does, and we find ourselves in Adrians room. I take my gaze off Carlisle and my eyes widen when I see Tyler beating the fuck out of Adrian.

"Tyler enough!!" I demand loud enough for all of them to flinch. I hear running behind me and they immediately barge into the room and stop when they see nothing going on. Matt still looks pissed but it wasn't at me this time.

"Tyler why the hell is my sister yelling for you to stop?! You're hands better not be on her!!" He screams in anger. Oohhhh he thought other things. Tyler's scared-of-me look turns into a look of fury at Matt due to his assumption.

"You seriously thought I'd hurt her?!! What the fuck is wrong with you?!" Tyler yelled back. Carlisle used vampire strength and literally pulled me roughly behind him. I winced and Tyler glared at Carlisle. "Don't. Touch. Her. Like. That." Tyler orders Carlisle and he raises his hands in surrender.

"You have no room to talk Martinez." Matt spits harshly at Tyler. I flinch at the tone he uses but relax when carlisles calm and gentle touch appears on my waist from in front of me. Jay being the... I'll say dominant one, pulled Matt out of the room and Caspian tended to us. He rips carlisles hold away from my body and forcefully drags me out of the room. Elizabeth, Hayley, Cameron and Liv all go to give us some space and Carlisle again, deals with Adrian. Tyler just ignores them and slams his bedroom door.

Ali follows closely behind as Caspian continues dragging me. We go into his room and he turns around locking the door. I stand there silently and look at the floor. I can see Caspians shadow coming closer but suddenly stops. I look up and see Ali in front of me with a finger pointed at his chest in protest and a deadly glare. "Do not touch her Cas." She orders. Even though she's my baby sister, she still feels the need to protect me knowing I can't do it myself when it comes to my brothers. I'm honestly way closer with my brothers rather than liv. I still trust Ali though. Sorry Liv.

"Ali let me speak to my sister." He warns as polite as possible. Caspian and Matt are the most protective so they're always angrier than Jay. Jay has his moments though.

"You can... from a distance." Ali says with a sarcastic smile. She backs him up and then forces me to sit on the bed next to her. Caspian rolls his eyes and glares at us dangerously.

"What the hell were you thinking Emma?" He asks trying not to shout but his tone still holds anger. When I stay silent and keep my regretful eyes into his he takes a step forward throwing Ali on alert. He stops and demands me to answer him.

What was I thinking? I honestly don't know. It was the heat of the moment. The heat of the moment caused you to fuck with him twice in a few hours? Ok shut the fuck up inner mind.

"Caspian my love life has nothing to do with you. At least he doesn't act like him." I mutter the last part and watch his face go blank. I look down and hear him getting closer, but softly. He lifts my chin with his index finger and I'm met with his normal soft, sweet eyes.

"Emma, I will never allow anyone to hurt you like he did. And surely not like dad did either so don't think for a damn minute that this isn't my business before it sure as hell is. I will not allow you to be treated like that. You are worth everything you are and so much more." He says and presses his forehead against mine. I wrap my arms around him and forced him into a tight hug. He sits next to me and Ali joins in making me giggle and cas chuckle.

AND YES FLUFFY IS STILL ALIVE!! She's just not seen much because she's not an important character. She comes in usually when Emma's alone or in desperate need of her fur baby.
