You had owled Minerva telling her to meet you at the hospital, but she had not arrived yet

Gripping the handles beside your bed a tear-stained face sweat beads on your forehead in pain from pushing all night wishing they'd just come out already.

After one final push there she was her beautiful black hair you got a good look at her before they took her to get cleaned up, after a few minutes they brought her back.

You looked at her chubby little face beginning to cry again when you looked into her eyes, the same dark orbs as her fathers she reminded you of him so much.

Just then the door opened and in walked Minerva, "she looks like him, a baby little snape" you croaked out. Minerva stepped over looking at your new baby 'she looks nothing like him' she thought 'but those eyes and that jet black hair now I see why she's reminded of him'. "do you have a name dear?" Minerva asked "Aurora sna- uh y/ln" you say wiping your tears.

"may I hold her?" "of course," you gently place her into Minerva's arms.

"oh, my look at you" Minerva cooed at her rubbing her cheek.

"I want to tell him" you announce looking at your hands Minerva raises a confused eyebrow "I want to tell Severus, maybe he's changed his mind" you say finally looking up at her she has a worried expression "are you sure that's what you want to do y/n?" she says giving you your baby "yes it is I don't know if I can do this on my own Minnie I have no one I lost everyone the day I made the stupid decision to leave Hogwarts at the moment I thought it was the best thing for us but now I'm realizing that it's not" you say tears falling from your eyes. "you're not alone y/n you have me and you know Ill always be here to help you and Albus, Remus and Sirius I'm sure they'd be happy to help." You just nodded and smiled feeling exhausted. Minerva stayed awhile watching the baby while you slept.

Two days later you were ready to go home, you went into the nursery the walls were painted grey, the hard wood floor had a circular carpet in the middle, there was a black crib against a wall, black drapes covered the window a rocking chair in one corner a bookshelf to one wall and a dresser to the other.

Not knowing if you were having a boy or girl you decided to make the theme black.

You decided against letting her stay there alone so you brought her to your study placing her in a bassinet next to you, pulling out a piece of paper and some ink to owl Severus.

You started to feel butterflies in your stomach beginning to get nervous.

You finished writing down everything you thought he should know, her name, how beautiful she was, how they had the same eyes and hair and how sorry you were for leaving.

You tied it to your owls' leg and sent them away with it.

'if he replies ill tell him exactly where I am' you thought.

The next day your owl came back but with nothing. 'maybe he just needs some time before replying' you thought, just then a knock came from the door your heart skipped a beat thinking it was Severus you rushed to the door opening it to see Sirius and Remus 'oh' you sighed internally "y/n!" Sirius said giving you a tight hug "Sirius" you replied "y/n, how are you?" Remus asked giving you a gentle hug

"oh, I'm fine, come in" you moved out of the way allowing them to enter.

"would you like some tea?" you asked politely "oh yes of course" said Remus "where's the baby? I have been dying to see her" Sirius asked Remus hit his leg "what? I want to see her" you giggle "I'll bring her out" you said walking to the nursery.

It has been a week and still no reply from Severus.

Time skip

it has been about 2 months and Severus hasn't replied back and probably won't ever, so you left it at that.

Remus and Sirius have been watching aurora while you trained to become an Auror something you have always wanted to be since your 2nd year of Hogwarts.

3 years later

Aurora now 3, cute little thing she spends most of her time with Remus whens hes taken his medicine, you spend all your free time with her reading to her, singing to her, feeding her, bathing her, playing with her all the motherly things you need to do.

Being an Auror you now realized why Severus did not reply to you.

He was a death eater.
