Rekindling of an old flame (Snape x Reader)

CHAPTER 2

3rd person POV

All of y/n friends sit in transfigurations waiting for her to come in but she never does.

They glance at each other all worried knowing she never misses this class.

Towards the end of class McGonagall speaks up "Narcissa, Severus, xenophilius, Lucius, Remus and Sirius please stay after class. They look at each other confused.

The bell rings and everyone but them leaves.

Minerva walks over to her desk opening a drawer pulling out the letters.

" now before I release you all I have something for each of you, miss y/ln has asked me to give these to you" with a flick of her wand the letters floated to the assigned person.

As soon as they hit their desks, they ripped them open.

McGonagall watched them read their letters seeing their faces made her heart twinge and tears began to weld in her eyes as the students in front of finished reading.

Narcissa sent a deadly glare at Severus who got up and left not wanting to cry in front of his peers

Xenophilius let his tears fall his best and only friend is gone he too got up and left.

Narcissa and Lucius left right as well as Remus and Sirius

McGonagall sighed wiping her eyes leaving to speak to albus.

Your POV

You arrived at your new school going straight to the headmaster's office to pick up your schedule for the last 9 weeks of school

It has been 3 weeks since your transfer you get the hang of things maintaining your good grades

You have started to experience morning sickness which makes things a little harder on you

You are now 5 weeks in 4 weeks away from graduating you haven't spoken to anyone at Hogwarts not even Albus or Minerva deciding it was best not to speak to them if you're not going to see them ever again

It is now the day of you graduate you're a bit disappointed that it's not from Hogwarts

You do your best to not cry thinking about how proud your parents would be

You are making your way to the headmaster's office he asked to speak with you before you left

You knock on the door hearing him tell you to enter you open the door and gasp at the sight before your "Dumbledore Minerva you're here!!" You rush over to Minerva embracing her tightly doing the same to Dumbledore

"Of course, we are dear we wouldn't miss it for the world!" Dumbledore spoke up

"I'm so proud of you y/n!" Said Minerva

"We need to get back Minerva" Dumbledore said

You gave them one last hug before they apparated back

You bid the headmaster goodbye before going to your dorm to pack

After You had everything You apparated to your parents' home in London as my feet hit the brick walkway, You immediately felt sick leaning over to throw up

'Apparition and pregnancy do not mix well'

I quickly grab my things I walk into the house not wanting anyone to see me.

Once inside I sat down breathing in the familiar scent of my childhood home.

Deciding to make a quick trip to Gringotts for the last time You floo your way to diagon alley quickly heading to the bank making sure you are not seen knowing Narcissa is always out shopping here.

You withdraw a large sum of money that will last you a while.

TIME SKIP

It's been about 2 months since you've graduated, you're now starting to show being 5 months you cut your hair shorter since the last time you were at Hogwarts and started to dress differently.

You decided to move to a nice, secluded muggle town nobody you knew would be there.

Going to see Dumbledore you were completely sidetracked with moving that you bumped in to someone you quickly turned to apologize "I'm so sorry I wasn't watching where I was- your breath hitched in your throat, it was Severus you saw his eyes go wide before he spoke "y/n?" he stuttered out with a curious look "Oh no, that isn't me" you nervously laugh before speed walking away thankfully he hadn't noticed your bump. Once out of peoples sight you apparated home and immediately started to pack your things you were on edge thinking he would show up at any moment.

You no doubt have to make more than one trip with all the stuff you had, after apparating 3 times you went back to your parents home one last time you grabbed the rest of your things ready to go to your new home when you heard a knock on the door "y/n I know you're in there let me in" Severus shouted from the other side of the door "alohomora" just as the door opened you apparated seeing Severus lunge forward to grab you but he missed you were already gone.

Severus POV

I was walking down the street of diagon alley fumbling with my gloves when someone bumped in to me "I'm so sorry I wasn't watching where I was-"it was her I knew it was I know those eyes of hers to well and that smile it gave me butterflies. she had on a black trench coat her hair was covered with a black scarf she wore a grey top with black slacks she looked very different from the last time I saw her.

"oh no, that isn't me" she stated before walking away rounding a corner.

I tried following her, but she was gone.

After an hour or so of walking I decided to go to her parents' house. I knocked on the door calling out for her I heard shuffling from the inside "y/n I know you're in there let me in" after a few seconds I waved my wand by the lock and entered.

There she stood her bump very obvious with two trunks in hand her foot on a large box I new exactly what she was going to do she began apparating I jumped forward trying to catch her, but I was too late she was gone.

All the pictures that once sat on the mantel were now gone, there was hardly anything left I walked to her old room opening the door her paintings gone hangers everywhere her drawers were cleaned out her bed unkept I sighed running a hand through my hair as I sat on her bed the smell of her perfume still lingered in the air.

My heart broke knowing this was probably the last time you would see eachother.

I stood to me feet and left the house going to my own how I hated it there.

Your POV

After seeing you were now in your living room you fell to the floor and began to sob uncontrollably the look on his face and him lunging to grab made your heartbreak a little more.

You sat there for a long while letting all your emotions go you thought about going back but you couldn't you had to leave for your baby.

Time skip

You're now going to the small muggle hospital in your new town finally getting checked out.

The doctor told you your baby was doing just fine you didn't want to know the gender yet, so you left.

You're on your way home back and feet aching 'bloody hell its cold' you think to yourself pulling out your house key from your coat opening the front door and taking a step inside.

Sighing a breath of relief, you kick off your shoes and hanging up your coat you take a seat waving your wand a cup of hot tea appears on the coffee table you take a sip the hot beverage warming you up

You smile relaxing into the arm chair closing your eyes letting your feet rest wishing you had someone to rub them like Severus once had sometimes you wish you never ran away from him you saw how hurt he was when you left, you thought about going to see him to write to him but you couldn't bring yourself to do it. You felt you hurt him enough so you decided against seeing him.
