The next morning you woke up with a horrible hangover, you rolled over feeling around the bed only to notice Lockhart wasn't there.
You sat up and looked around before getting your clothes on and going back to your chambers.
You took a quick shower and got dressed.
You went to your first class and taught them about how Hogwarts came to be and about the different houses and who they are named after.
The rest of your classes you went over the same thing with your lower years, then went on to lecture your upper years about the magical beginnings
Soon all your classes had come to an end.
You made your way back to your chambers
After getting everything you needed you grabbed your coat and purse placing your wand inside it.

You locked your chambers and made your way out apparating to the hospital.
Going inside you checked in for your appointment.
A lady brought you in to a small room with a monitor in it.
"So you just want to check if your pregnant right"
You nodded and she continued
"Okay, let's see" she said
She lifted your shirt and her eyes widen
"Those are some nasty bruises dear" she said looking at you suspiciously.
"I took a fall down some moving stairs, I came to see if the baby is okay" you said convincingly
She nodded understandingly
"This may be a little cold" she said squeezing some gel on to your stomach
She moved around your stomach for awhile not seeing anything, she moved to a certain spot and you saw it you felt the way you did seeing aurora.
"You are around 8 weeks and your baby looks fine dear" she said with a smile, you let out a breath you didn't realize you were holding.
"It's always a relief to hear your child is fine"
"Would you like a picture" she asked
"yes"
"Okay let's get that for you then"

After she finished up she cleaned off your stomach and handed you an envelope.
You grabbed your things and left to the manor.
Knocking on the door a house elf let you in.
He lead you to where Narcissa and Lucius were.
"Y/n sit! We were just about to have dinner" Lucius exclaimed from the table, the house elf took your coat and your bag as you sat down.
The house elf's brought out plates and set them In front of each of you.
One of them went to pour you a glass of wine but you stopped him and asked for water.
Looking up you saw narcissa raise her eyebrow.
Lucius looked as if he would burst any moment, as you begun to eat he spoke up.
"I'm sure you've heard" he said with a small smile
You looked at narcissa and her excited expression
"I have" you said smiling at them.
After you finished dinner you saw how touchy they were getting with each other
"I think I'm going to go back to Hogwarts, I have a lot of work I need to catch up on" you said putting your coat back on and slinging your purse on.
"We haven't spoken" narcissa said as Lucius walked away from the conversation about to start.
"I'm about 2 months now and I saw the image and I couldn't do it" you said looking at her, you pulled the image out of your pocket and gave it to her.
She smiled a sad smile knowing that it wasn't what you wanted.
"I have to tell him before I do it" you said
"Okay" she said before pulling you in to a hug
"Please be careful, and end it before it gets worse" she spoke softly looking you in the eye.
You nodded at her before turning and leaving.

Once back at Hogwarts you went straight to your chambers avoiding everyone that you passed.
You went in and collapsed on your couch as tears began to seep out of your eyes.
There was a knock on your door quickly wiping your tears you went to answer it.
You opened it and Severus pushed past you and came inside you turned to look at him confused.
"y/n I need to tel-
"you can't be here Severus" you cut him off
"Please just listen to me" he said
"He's cheating" he blurted out
"What? What are you talking about" you said with furrowed brows as you crossed your arms
"I saw them, I went to diagon alley for a few ingredients and I saw him and a woman being more than friendly with one another" he said quickly
'Beating me and cheating?' You thought
"I don't believe you" you said lying to yourself
"He would never do that to me, you must be mistaken" you said opening the door
"Now you need to leave" you spoke fearful of what Lockhart would do if he found you were with him.
He eyed you suspiciously before leaving.
You sat back down emotionless, empty.
On your couch for hours staring at your door trying to process everything.
You sat that way for the rest of the night, you could see the morning sun shining through the window hurting your eyes, you squinted as you got up to close the curtains making your living room dark.
You waved your hand and a fire started in the fireplace you stared in to the flames feeling completely numb, normally you'd be bawling your eyes out or furious for the way you have been treated but you couldn't find the strength to care.
Listening to crackling of the fire you laid down.
