The next morning you wake up early feeling nervous as it is you first day teaching.
After taking a shower you put on your undergarments and slip on a robe.
Deciding you'd make your own breakfast you stay in your chambers and make something quick to eat.
After eating you finished getting ready. You dried your hair and curled it a bit leaving it down, you put on a grey button up shirt and some black trousers with a pair of black shoes you take a look at yourself in the mirror fluffing up your hair a bit before grabbing your things to leave.
You make your way to your classroom to prepare for your first class.
5 minutes later your door opened and students started to flood in once everyone was seated you began your introduction "hello I am professor y/ln your new history of magic teacher" you say with a smile
"today I will be going over some rules and expectations in this class and what I will be covering this term. But first lets start with attendance" you say going to sit at your desk.
"now the only things you'll be needing for this class is your books some parchment and your quills, this is one of the subjects where magic wont be necessary therefore there will be no wand waving in this class I will not tolerate any foolishness" you say
snickering comes from the back of the room.
"Mr. Malfoy would you care to share with the rest us what's so funny?" you ask the blonde "I was just telling goyle and y/ln how useless this class was professor" he answered smugly you raised your eyebrow at his snide response "tell me Draco why is that?" you ask leaning against your desk and crossing your arms "well professor because we wont be using any magic its just a waste of time this class isn't important" he says 'merlin he's just like his father' you thought"to know and understand history is necessary, the study of history is important because it is essential for us in understanding the world around us and ourselves. You need to develop a sense of self to understand who you are, a big part of that is learning where you fit in to the story of our world. History of magic tells us the story of how our nation came to be. It tells us where our ancestors came from and tells us who they were. Most importantly, it gives you the ability to spot and appreciate the legacies you may have inherited from them. History gives us the opportunity to learn from past mistakes. It helps us understand the many reasons why people may behave the way they do. As a result, it helps us become more compassionate as people and more impartial as decision makers. I can go on and on about the importance of magical history but I do not have time today as class will be ending soon, Malfroy, y/ln, Goyle stay the rest of you may go" you say standing up straight waiting
as the last person leaves, you wave your wand and the door slams shut making the young Slytherins jump "the next time you three hooligans decide to interrupt my class I will have you scrubbing this floor until it is sparkling clean and your hands are blistering red" Draco lets out a small giggle resulting in the other to giggling "go ahead laugh if you will but I take this subject very seriously do not test me. Draco I will be having a word with your father about this behavior" you say watching his smug little smile fade at the mention of his father "now get to class all of you!" you say flinging your wand at the door making it swing open with a bang.
You watch as they run out of your class in to the corridor a smile pulling at your lips
satisfied with yourself as you walk to the door.
"that was quite a scene professor" you hear a familiar voice speak from beside you
"that was three children that aren't disciplined enough" you say turning back inside your classroom
