I dont care (Tony x Reader)

The tower had got used to you and Tony screaming down each other's throats, you were together in one of the most toxic relationships anyone had ever seen.

The relationship started soon after pepper left Tony, it was a whirlwind to begin with but you had no idea you were the rebound and Tony just didn't know how to tell you, you were his friend first, his team mate second and third his girlfriend.

That being said, your good days were really good. You felt the love ooze out your pores and you felt so happy, they were few and far between but when they came around you were happy enough.

Each time you and Tony drifted apart, you became more reckless and daring, that's when it started to affect the team. Everyone loved you, you were the youngest and they wanted to protect you; especially Loki, there were times when you'd be hysterical and he would cuddle up with you just to calm you, he hated the world but his love for you ran deep.

It was a normal Friday night, the team had come together for movie night, it was your pick but you didn't have the strength to leave your bed, you and Tony had, had a huge argument which took it out of you.

Flashback
"I don't even know why I bother with you anymore y/n. Your here to pass the time until someone better comes along, someone mature, someone amazing, some like, some like, Pepper." Tony said, you stood frozen, you had always thought it but he'd never said it.

You took a step back and sat down on one of the chairs, it felt hard to breathe, your chest was hurting. Tony's rambling went on and on but you had tuned it out.

"Jesus, are you even listening to me?" Tony said, without a second look you stood up from the chair and walked past him, "are you even listening to me? How are we meant to get past this if your not even listening?" Tony said, you continued to ignore him and as you got to the door, he shouted your name causing you to jump. "If you walk out that door, we're done." Tony said.

Looking at Tony over your shoulder, you shrugged. "I, I don't care Tony." You said, you couldn't believe it had got to that point, you didn't care for Tony Stark anymore.

You were laid up in your bed just staring at the wall and crying, you felt pathetic, you were an avenger and you were crying over someone who definitely didn't deserve it.

"Who's choice is it tonight?" Clint asked, "y/n, unless she's otherwise occupied." Sam smirked, "I doubt she'll be coming to movie evening." Tony said choosing a film, the tension in the air was rife, no one said a thing.

You managed to pull yourself out of bed, you needed a drink. You had a pair of leggings on with either Steve or Bucky's jumper, you weren't sure who's it was, you had your headphones in because you didn't want to talk to anyone.

"Hey Y/N." Bucky called, "y/n." Wanda called, you got your water and walked past them all. Tony stood in front of you, your broken eyes looked up to his, everyone sat around watching.

"Come on y/n, you've got to talk to me at some point." Tony said stepping towards you, you moved back. "This is what you need to understand, you keep ignoring me, every time I reached out to you, begging for you, you did it because you always thought I'd be there, now the tables have turned, and I'm not going to be there anymore, I'm not going to call you no more, I'm not checking up on you no more, I'm not needing you anymore, you wanna no why? It's simple. You taught me how to live without you." You said walking past him.

As you reached your room you locked the door and pulled up your laptop, you started looking for flats near the compound so it wasn't too far of a walk, you found a quaint little one bedroom flat 20 minutes walk, you applied to go and view it tomorrow.

The next day was the same, you walked out of your room and into the kitchen, you grabbed an apple and some water, Sam stood in front of you and you walked around him.

The day after was the same, you showered, left to get an apple and some water. Your wet hair ran down your back, Tony stood in front of you. "Come on y/n, I'm sorry." He said, you ignored him and walked around him. "Y/N. You live in my house, you can't ignore me forever." Tony said, Thor was the next to stand in front of you, your eyes looked up at him and told him what you needed, he nodded.

The next day you had a small mission with Sam, Bucky & Sam, you were silent on the mission, they'd put you on sniper duty, you took out who you needed to, four made it onto the roof and you began beating on them, they beat on you and roughed you up good. Sam & Bucky came to your rescue, you gave them a silent thank you.

Tony was stood in front of your door, "it's been five days y/n." Tony said, "I don't care." You said and went to walk past him, he gripped your arm and pushed you into the wall, "get your hands of her stark." Loki said walking slowly past him, in a second you had your arms wrapped around him and his around yours, he opened your door and lead you inside. You broke down to him and told him everything, he was angry with Tony but stayed with you. Him and Thor helped you pack your things up, Thor walked out with several boxes and you followed behind with Loki.

"No, you can't go." Wanda said running over to you, "sorry Max." You said accepting her hug, "please don't go." Sam said, Tony walked around the corner and everyone's eyes stopped on him, his jaw hit the floor. "Your leaving." Tony said, he walked close to you and Loki pushed you behind him.

"Please, I'm so sorry y/n. I didn't mean to say what I said." Tony said trying to get around Loki, "I don't care Tony, you said it, it stung, it's done." You said. "Please don't leave me." He said, "Tony stop acting the victim, you hurt me, so fucking bad, and because I'm the second woman after pepper to actually leave you. You don't know what else to do. You'll be fine, go on tinder or something I'm sure they'll be a line of females along the street for you." You said nudging Loki, he wrapped his hand around your shoulders and began to walk you out.

Tony followed after you, "ENOUGH." Loki shouted and turned around, he went to put his hand onto Tony's head but you stopped his arm. "Don't. It's not worth it." You said, you held onto his hand and walked out.

"Thor don't feel obligated to stay, go back to your friends." You smiled at him, "are you sure?" He asked, "yeah I'm sure, I got my trickster. I'll be fine." You said giving him a hug. You turned to Loki, "so trickster, you want to help me unpack?" You said to him, he held his finger up with his smirk, he clicked his fingers and the boxes were emptied and everything was in the right place. "Much better." He said pulling you in and giving you a kiss on your temple.

"Wow, I didn't know you could do that." You said to him, "see you don't know most of my tricks, I'm very fond of you y/n." He said with a smile, "love you trickster." You said snuggling into him.

"I too little one." He said teleporting you into the bed room, "I thought this would look good here." He said pointing to the pictures of you and him above your bed, you laughed. "Are you trying to scare of every man who comes into my life?" You said, "of course. I'm the only man you need." He said with a smile.
