'SOULMATE' the definition of soulmate is different for many people, it can mean finding the best friend you've ever had, or finding the one person who you'd drop everything for. Regardless of either definition, you had not yet found yours.

Which in the world of today, was impossible because you couldn't see colour without your soulmate.

I've been alive, in ice and alive again for 35,770 days and I've yet to met him or even her, it wasn't really something I ever thought was going to be a problem, but hearing everyone talk about the vibrant colours surrounding them really puts a damper on things.

It got pretty irritating when doing training, it was always red team this, blue team that and y/n your on caps team. Steve was the same as me, he was yet to met his soulmate and then it all changed when he met Peggy's niece Sharon, his world expanded more and he made use of his new colour sight.

Everyone always felt sorry for you, 'it will happen soon.', 'your a strong independent woman, you don't need a soulmate.' When in reality they feel sorry for you and have said it too many times before to count.

The familiar rustic taste dropped down your lip, your wrists were strapped together behind your back and your feet tied to each chair leg, you shuffled to move without any luck.

Three men stood in front of you speaking in their native tongue; french. What they didn't know was that you actually understood every word they were saying.

"quelle jolie petite bouche, dommage qu'elle ne soit pas utilisée pour ce à quoi elle est destinée." He said squeezing your cheeks creating an opening in your mouth.

Vibrating in your pocket caused you to look down, you couldn't reach it without your hands being untied, you caught the attention of one of the guys. "Hey, do me a favour and answer that for me, it's important."  You said smuggly, of course they didn't answer.

One of the goons began ringing, you laughed and stared at him. "That's for me." You said, he looked at you weird until he pulled the phone from his pocket, he handed it over to you in a second. "Still living in the 1940's y/n?" Natasha said, "Kha, da poshla ty, vdova. Chem ya obyazan etim udovol'stviyem? These idiots where giving me everything I needed to know." You said switching from Russian to English quickly.

"We need you back, Steve's got a lead on his pal and he wants to leave by the end of tonight." She said, "please hold." You said, and began getting out of the chair and beating the men in front of you.

"I told you not to call her in the middle of it." Steve said to Natasha, grunts could be heard over the phone. "She'll be okay. I've seen her take on bigger guys. You need her with you on this right?" Natasha said to Steve, "correct." He said in a huff. "But she better be okay." Steve added quickly.

"Tell spangles I'm okay. One of the bastards got a hit in while I was unconscious on the chair." You said, "LANGUAGE." You could hear Steve shout, "drop me the coordinates and I'll met you there." You said hanging up.

Scrapping your nails along the wall caught "Guillaume. I need a favour." You asked of him, "and what do I owe the pleasure beautiful?" He questioned, "I need a ride to Bucharest. Preferably by tonight?" You asked him, "best I can do is 05:00am in the morning, your little stunt just know has everyone's suspicions rising." He said spinning in his chair, "sorry." You said shrugging your shoulders, "still no colour?" He said to you, "Nope don't even know what colour is dripping down my mouth, I know it's red but I don't actually know what colour red is." You laughed, "damn, here's hoping that I'd change your world." He smirked, "oh Guillaume, you change my world every time I'm with you." You said walking towards the back.
