You and Bucky had been secretly dating you weren't too sure what to call it yet.
Bucky was ready to tell everyone, but you were a little apprehensive, you were too sure why but you wanted to keep a secret for a little while longer; Bucky respected this and was taking it at your speed.
Normally you and Bucky were put on the same missions, but today was different, you were heading off by yourself and Bucky was heading off with Peter & Wanda.
Bucky, Peter & Wanda had to retrieve some posh farts daughter from some terrorists, it went smoothly, a few cuts too each of them but nothing to worrying.
But, your mission. It was a dozy. Natasha was in your ear most of the time, you had to go undercover and assess whether it was worth S.H.E.I.L.D.S. time to go after some scientific weapons, you needed to find there purpose and what they had been used for or when they would be used. It was going smoothly until you were recognised.
"Shit Nat, I've been made." You said quickly into the ear piece.
That was the last time anyone had heard from you.
Everyone was worried, it was like you had fallen off the face of the earth, no trace, no footage, there was no lead for you because there was no evidence.
For two days Bucky hunted high and low for you, for two days he was beside himself and for two days, he'd woken with nightmares, nightmares of you.
You made your way back to the tower, you'd managed to get yourself free and stay under the radar.
You'd taken a beating but luckily you gave back more than you got.
It was relatively early in the morning, around 08:00.
You stumbled into the kitchen and everhone looked up from what they were doing, shook written all over there faces.
Bucky was the first person and only person you looked at in that moment, he took in your injures, hell he wanted to jump the kitchen counter and run to you, too have you safe in his arms but he knew you wouldn't want that.
As you moved everyone kept there eyes on you and where you were going, you didn't care who was in the room, the only person right now that you cared about was Bucky.
You stopped in front of him, you gazed at his eyes for a moment and then a single tear dropped down your face, you truly thought you'd never see him again, you got up on your tiptoes as Bucky lent down, you threw your arms around him tightly and both his hands squeezed you in gripping your hair and the top you were wearing(gif).

Bucky was still a little shell shocked you wanted to do this in front of everyone, but everyone would know by now, questions later. As you stood normally on the floor against Bucky's chest he kissed the top of your head.

Bucky's instinct took over and he scooped you up into his arms and carried you bridal style of too his bedroom, he could tell you needed to sleep.
"Come on baby, we'll go to sleep and then I'll cook you up something good." He said too you.
Firstly you showered, as you stood in the shower Bucky helped wash you down, once finished you stood in his arms under the falling water. (Gif)

Once you'd finished in the shower, Bucky wrapped you up in a soft fluffy towel and sat you on the edge of the bed while he combed your hair.
He brought some of your pyjamas over and you shook your head, "I want to feel you." You whispered too him, he pulled back the cover and picked up up bridal style while removing your towel, he laid you under the cover and make sure you were comfortable, "now yours." You said with a small smirk, a smile covered Bucky's, he dropped his towel and got in next to you, he pulled you close to him as he wrapped his arms around you, you could feel his warmth, his soft, goose bumped skin as you ran your finger tips over him, the stubble that had grown around his jaw line that you grazed with you nose and then the raw manly smell that was Bucky Barnes, he let you explore, once you pulled your finger tips back, he put his hand on your face and pulled you into him. "Your safe, I'll never let anything happen to you again." Bucky said kissing your forehead, your eyes fluttered closed as you listened to the sound of his heart beating.
