Silent hugs

You and Bucky had a rough break up, he was doing everything to try and win you back but it wasn't working. It had been a year of you two getting closer again, going on missions and having each other's backs. One of the S.H.E.I.L.D. Agents ask you out and you say yes to it.

You get yourself ready for the date, hair all done, make up all done and wearing a new dress. As you walk out everyone begins wolf whistling at you, Bucky's head shots up and drops within a second. "So where's he taking you for this date?" Natasha asks, "somewhere simple, we're going to go for dinner and see how it goes from there." You smile trying to avoid Bucky.

Steve and Sam look helplessly at there friend, there thankful you keep it short with Natasha.

As you walk past Bucky, the smell of your perfume puckers his head up. You turn your head and give him a small smile and walk towards the door. He walks after you and you hear "Buck, don't." From Steve.

He gets you just as you turn the corner, "I thought, I thought we were getting closer? I thought we could really make another go of things?" Bucky said running his hand in his hair. "Buck, I will always care about you, when we go out on that field, your safety is always a priority to me, no matter what happens, I will be here for you, I will look after you. I owe you that much." You said to him, he looks down at the floor. You tip his head up, "come on Buck, I'd hate to see your crown drop." You said to him, he gave you a little smile.

You and this shield agent we're dating for a year, you had grown close and you and Bucky continued to grow closer. He had started seeing a girl and you and him both suggested that you go on a double date. You didn't realise he was still hiding these feelings from you, you would always be his number one.

You got ready for your double date, Bucky and Jared planned an extravagant evening; little did James know Jared was going to ask you to be his wife.

You walked out into the lobby and everyone stopped dead and Sam dropped the biscuit he was eating, Bucky turned around and did a fake touch his heart and pretend faint scene. "Good to know I still got it." You said poking your tongue out.

"I need to get a picture of you two." Vis said, you and Bucky laughed, he sat down on the chair in front of you and you did this pose:

Jared and Lisa came up to the lobby and Vis wanted to take photos of you all. "It is strange." Vis said, "what's strange bubble?" You questioned him, "why do you and James look for comfortable then you and Jared and James and Lisa?" He asked, Wanda took him away and Jared looked at you, "because he's my best friend." You say with a smile, you turn to grab your jacket and don't see the lingering stare he gives you, but Bucky does. He looks up at Bucky and Jareds eyes immediately shot to the floor, Bucky smirked.

Bucky offered to drive, "SHOT GUN." You shouted and ran to the front seat, Bucky smirked. "Don't you think Lisa should sit in the front next to her date?" Jared suggested, "hey if you don't know the rules of shot gun by know, I can't help you." You laughed and jumped into the front seat, Bucky shook his head laughing. Jared and Lisa looked at each other with anger in there eyes.

Once they pulled up to the resurent Bucky waked round and helped you out of the front seat and then helped Lisa out. "Don't you think you should let me out first?" She said to him in a hushed tone, your eyes shot in her direction and she looked down to the floor, you smirked.

You spent the next hour making small talk and laughing, you and Bucky sat opposite each other but next to your partners. You had just finished your main and ordered some champagne for the table. "I will be back in a moment, I need to use the men's room." Jared said, "I need to use the powder room." Lisa said.
