I guess I fell inlove with my best friend (Bucky x Reader)

You were in a relationship with a 'normal' civilian, you'd been going out since Bucky moved into the tower. He was jealous of your relationship with Bucky, from the moment you two met you had a unspoken trust.

Unlike the rest of the team you weren't threatened by him, you looked at him like a human being. It took some getting used to on his behalf but soon he started to believe the words you were saying.

When Luke wasn't around you flirted with Bucky, you know you shouldn't have but it came naturally to both of you, he flirted with you so you flirted back.

On missions you had Buckys back and he had yours, you worked as a good team; the only two who worked as a better team were Steve and Bucky and you and Nat.

"Your thinking about him right know aren't you." Luke said during a late night thunderstorm. "No, no Luke I'm not." You said getting annoyed. "I can tell you are. It's a thunderstorm, he doesn't like them." Luke said, "but I'm here with you so drop it." You said through gritted teeth.

A gigantic thundercloud ripped through the air waking you up, you shot up which woke Luke up. "Just go." He said not looking at you.

Steve ran into Bucky's room alongside Sam and Natasha, secretly they hated when you didn't stay at the tower because Bucky would always have nightmares and no one could calm him down from his big ones.

Bucky had gone to bed early, the team continued to watch the film downstairs until they heard the screams, Steve and Sam were the first ones up, Nat shortly after. Steve ran in there, Bucky had him up by the throat in a second. Sam & Tony ran in and where of no help, Peter came and offered a little more assistance.

"CALL HER." Steve shouted, "she's with Luke." Nat said back, "I DONT CARE." Steve shouted back, Nat tried to call you but your phone went straight to voicemail. "I can't get her." Nah said. "Wanda go." Steve said, Wanda took control of Bucky's mind, she held it as long as she could.

As you ran into the tower you got the elevator up to the right floor and could hear the commotion going on, you could hear Wanda screaming and the men grunting, as you got to Bucky's room it was carnage.

"Move." You said running through them, "he's going to hurt you." Steve said, "he won't, Wanda stop." You said, she refused and then Steve nodded towards her. Bucky came out of the trance they had him in and held onto you, his right hand around your neck, agaisnt the wall so your feet were off the ground.

"Bucky, it's me. It's Y/N, come on." You said trying not to struggle, the men still had a grip on him, "let go." You said and they did, all but Steve. "STEVE LET GO." You shouted, he did and Bucky's grip loosened.

You were losing breathe, you stroked Bucky's hair and pulled him towards you, his grip loosened and then you wrapped your arms around his neck, he tried pushing you away but you held him to you. "Buck, it's me. Your safe, your at the tower. Steve, Sam, Natasha there all here. Come on baby, don't let them win." You said stroking his hair, he then relaxed into you. "I'm sorry." He whispered, "vsyakiy raz, kogda ya s toboy, ya chuvstvuyu sebya kak doma. Ty vsegda budesh' nuzhdat'sya v moyey zhizni." You whispered to him, everyone looked at Natasha she smiled, "YA mog pokorit' mir odnoy rukoy, poka ty derzhal druguyu." He whispered back, Natasha smiled even brighter, she looked at Wanda who got the just of what was being said and she smiled too.

Bucky then looked at you, "your wet." He said looking down you, "I couldn't leave me best guy alone could I?" You said smiling. Everyone slowly left and you got Bucky into bed, you kissed him on top of the head and sat in his desk chair. "You not going back to Luke?" Bucky asked, "I got some klaus to catch up on." You smiled pulling out your headphones, "oh can I borrow some clothes?" You asked, he nodded and you grabbed one of his tracksuits that was too big for you.
