I headed from the great hall to the library slowly taking in what had happened in the last 20 minutes or so. George had just kissed me! He kissed me in front of everyone in the great hall. I'm not 100 percent sure but I think Fred saw it too.

But what I don't get is why I liked it? I didn't even know he was going to do it. I mean why wasn't I freaking out right now? My best friend of 10 years had just kissed me. Could I like him? No of course not! I couldn't like him that way. Of course, I 'liked' him but only in a friend way. My mind was so clouded with everything. Where the hell did the huge surge of confidence come from that made me kiss him on the cheek right in front of Fred?

I pushed everything to the back of my mind for now as I entered the library. I quickly put back the few books I had that needed returning before leaving quickly to head off to potions.

When I entered the room George was already looking in my direction smiling widely. He motioned for me to come sit in the empty seat next to him. "Hello love" he said as I sat down beside him. "Hey" I smiled back as I pulled out my potions book. He went to speak again but was interrupted by Snape "Turn to page 226" he spoke his voice in the same dull tone it always is. "There will be no talking, you are to read what's on the page and then write it up with a detailed explanation of how to make the potion." he droned on boring everyone in the class. Everyone let out a small groan that was just nearly audible. I rolled my eyes before looking down to my book to read.

One thing I'm thankful for is being a quick reader and writer. It's made my life so much easier but so much harder at the same time. Let's just say before Fred started dating, him and George would constantly ask for me to do their last minuet homework when they had forgot to do it because they had been busy pranking.

Even though Snape said no talking we were currently whispering backwards and forward between each other. Fred kept tapping Georges back to try and get his attention, but George chooses to ignore him.

"Mr. Weasley!" Snape's voice bellowed from the back of the class. Both the twins turned in their seat to look at him. "Weasley one" he motioned to Fred. "I said no talking in my class, 5 points from Gryffindor!" he bellowed. "George and y/n were talking to and you haven't taken points from them!" he scoffed. Snape sent him a very harsh glare "I did not see them talking in my class, you however were trying to talk to your brother and 5 more points from Gryffindor for speaking out of term again!" Snape practically barked back at Fred. This immediately shut Fred up. Not a minute later Snape dismissed the class.

As George and I left the classroom we both burst out laughing. "That was too funny" George said resting a hand on my shoulder to steady himself. I laughed again nodding in agreement.

Suddenly someone barged there way between us pushing us apart. "Whoa watch where you're going" I exclaimed before I noticed it was actually Fred who had barged past. He turned around sending a harsh glare our way before continuing to walk away. "Someone's in a mood" George snorted again as we continued to walk towards the common room for our free period. I would probably use this time to get any homework done or be helping George do his.

Once we arrived and sat down, I pulled out my almost complete DADA assignment and began writing again. We talked between our self a little letting out small chuckles at some of the things.

However, the conversation was quickly changed when George asked, "you seem like you're a lot happier than you were this morning?" I nodded my head not looking up from my parchment. "I am". He smiled in response "Good, I'm happy you are" he laid a comforting hand on my leg. I looked up to meet his brown eyes staring back at me when his hand made contact with my leg. A huge smile was also spread across his face. I smiled back before returning to my work.

That was how the rest of the free period was spent. We were both working but also constantly smiling at each other whilst his hand remained on my leg for most of the time sat. He would occasionally squeeze my leg when he wanted to get my attention, or he just wanted to distract me from what I was going.
