Chapter 20

Two and a half month later...

With only a week left of exams y/n had been left with her thoughts the last two and a half months. After Fred and Angelina split up y/n approached George about what they were going to do about their fake dating situation. George said they should continue how they were because if they 'spilt up' it would be suspicious since it would have been just right after Fred and Angelina break up.

The whole thing began to become so hard for the both of them. Y/n was especially finding it hard because she couldn't talk to anyone about how she was feeling. She couldn't tell any of her friends because then she would have to tell people it was all fake and she didn't want to embarrass herself or George. She also couldn't go to George because she didn't want to admit to herself that she had falling in love with her best friend and that he would never feel the same back.

She tried to distance herself from George to stop herself from falling in love with him anymore. She did have a good excuse though which was that she really needed to study and prepare for her exams and so she would always go off to the library to work.

However, there was one positive thing from the last couple of months and that was that Y/n and Fred friendship had begun to rekindle itself. They had slowly got back to what it used to be, and they were both very happy about it.

Y/n POV...

As I sat in my last exam, I glanced at the clock to see there was 5 minutes remaining. Not one of my friends were in this exam as they all finished there's yesterday. I couldn't wait to get out of the hall, I had been sat for nearly two hours. There was party in the common room tonight that had been organised by the twins to celebrate the end of exams. Honestly, I was really looking forward to it, it meant I could relax after all the stress of exams.

I looked at the clock again, 3 minutes remaining. I picked up the quill from my table and began to play with in my hands as I waited for time to be called.

2 minutes remaining. People began to look around the hall at others trying to see who else was done.

1 minuet remaining, I looked at the clock watching the secondhand tick round.

"You may place your quill's down now!" McGonagall called from the front of the hall. She then snapped her fingers and all the exam papers disappeared from the table's. McGonagall then dismissed us all row by row and we left the hall.

I went back to the common room from the hall. As I was walking back, I accidently bumped into Hermione. "I'm so sorry" I apologised. "Don't be silly it was an accident, anyway, how was your last exam?" she asks. "Good although I'm glad that there over now" I chuckled. "I'm sure your results are going to be good" she smiled. I thanked her before continuing on to the common room.

When I got back to the common room there wasn't many people around. Fred was sat on the chair near the fire and stood up when he saw me. "How was it?" he asked giving me a small hug. "Good, glad it's all over now though" I laughed.

"Hey, I'm going to go for a nap before tonight" I said walking towards the stairs. "Have you seen George by any chance on your way back?" Fred called causing me to turn back round. "no" I shook my head. "Oh, okay just I haven't seen him all morning" Fred said. "Honestly Fred, I haven't seen him since last night after dinner" I said being honest. He nodded "I'm going to go look for him, I'll tell him your back if I find him" he said and then he left the common room.

I then went to my dorm and immediately collapsed on the bed falling asleep after my long morning. The sleep was deep, and I think that was my body catching up on all the sleep I've missed the last couple of months
