Chapter 39

1st August, 1997

Bill and Fleurs wedding day.

The morning of the wedding the burrow was very hectic. People were running about all over getting everything prepared. The boys had been busy helping Arthur put up the wedding tents that was until the minister of magic turned up wanting to speak to the golden trio. Some of the girls had been helping Fleur get ready.

George and y/n had entered the kitchen to grab a cup of tea together when George had nudged y/n and then tilted his head in the direction of Harry and Ginny. Y/n turned her head to see harry zipping up Ginny's dress as they talked between themselves. Both of their eyes widened when they realised that the pair were going to kiss. Ginny's hand rested on Harry shoulder and Harry's hand had made its way to her waist. George then picked up his toothbrush and placed it in his ear before clearing his throat to get Harry and Ginny's attention. The pair quickly pulled away and looked at y/n and George. "Morning" George longed out the word before taking a drink of his tea and exaggerating a wink.

"Leave them alone" Y/n said shoving George in the side as she shook her head. "That's my baby sister Harry happens to be snogging" he protested now that they had left the room. "Like you haven't snogged anyone in your life" said y/n crossing her arms. "Yeah, but there's only one person I would rather be snogging right now, and she's stood right next to me" George said with a smirk. Y/n shook her head "Well I've heard this girl doesn't want to snog anyone" she said with a playful tone. "Well, I think that's bullshit" said George as he placed his cup down and then dipped his head down so that their lips connected. "Yes, I think your right it's bull-" y/n began but was cut off. "I'm I am interrupting something?" The voice of Fred came as he looked between the two.

"You know fine well you were" George shot at his brother who had a knowing smirk on his face. "Oops" Fred said sarcastically. "Yeah oops" y/n glared at Fred. "Moving on" Fred said changing the subject "Are you going to save a dance for your best friend at the wedding?" he asked y/n. "Oh I didn't know Lee was coming!" she smirked knowing it will have annoyed him, George held his hand up for a high five. "Ouch, now that hurt" Fred said holding a hand to his chest. "I'm only kidding Fred, of course I will" said y/n.

"Fred! George! Y/N!" The voice of molly shouted. "The guests will start arriving soon, can you three show them where they need to be heading when they get here!?" she asked stepping into the kitchen to find the three of them. "Yes mum" the twins said at the same time. "Oh y/n dear you look lovely" molly said quickly giving her a hug before walking back out the kitchen. "Were her sons and we don't get a compliment" the twins complained as they now walked out of the kitchen.

The three 19-year olds stood at the apperating landing point so they could direct people as they arrived. The twins kept on making jokes in-between people arriving. "Look who it is" Fred said looking a head of them. "Is that Viktor Krum?" George said. "Why would he be here at the wedding?" he asked no one in particular. "He's friends with Fleur duh" y/n said to the pair quietly as Viktor approached. "Ah Y/n it's good to see you again" Viktor said bowing his head. "Fred, George" he said acknowledging them before they shook hands. He was then shown to a seat by Fred. After another 40 minutes or so all the guests had finally arrived and were seated, and it was now just waiting for the ceremony to commence. The twins and y/n made their way to their seats that were close to the front. Everyone chatted amongst themselves until a voice interrupted them. "The ceremony will be being in 2 minutes" the registrar said.

When the ceremony did begin molly was in tears at the fact her oldest son was getting married. Arthur was beyond proud of his son as he sat in the front row alongside molly and Charlie who was bills best man.
