George's POV...

A few more rounds were played and then it came to Adrian's turn. "Truth or dear?" a boy asked him from the other side of the circle.
"dare" Adrian said with a smirk. "Okay... I dear you to snog the first girl to your left" the boy said. I watched as he looked to his left, the was a boy next to him and then next to him was y/n.

My breath hitched in my throat when I realised what I was about to witness. Fred must have noticed because he places a hand on my shoulder and whispered "It's just a game" Adrian then stood up and walked so that he was now stood in front of y/n and then he held out his hand to help her up. She took his hand as she stood up and was pulled by Adrian into him.

He then cupped her face in his hands and brought her face to his locking their lips together. The sight alone just made my blood boil. There was a loud round of applause and cheers from everyone except me and Fred. When they finally pulled away, I watched y/n drag her thumb across her bottom lip slowly before she sat back down. Adrian proceeded to then send a smirk straight at me before he sat down to.

I wanted to stand up right there and punch him but Fred held me by my arm so I couldn't leave. The game continued on for another half an hour and more drinks had flown around to. Suddenly y/n stood up from the circle and began to exit the room. This was my chance to go talk to her. I stood up and quickly followed her out the room.

I walked to the outside and there she was looking over the manors garden. Her hair was pulled to one side as it cascaded over her shoulder. I watched her pull her arms up and wrap them around herself as a cold breeze swept across the garden.

I slowly approached not wanting to startle her. "y/n" I called her name as I stood next to her. She turned and looked at me before turning back away and looking to the ground. "What are you doing out here?" I asked. "I just needed some air, it's too warm inside." she replied not looking at me. We stood in dead silence for a moment and then I spoke up again wanting to know why she hadn't responded to me for the last two week. "I wrote to you several times and you didn't answer me. Why?" She sighed "I've been busy" she said looking up from the ground but still not looking at me.

"Busy doing what? you promised that we could talk once we had left but you've been avoiding me instead" I stated. "I've been busy focusing on myself and clearing my head. Focusing on what's important right now" she said. "And what about us?" I asked, "are we not important?" I said turning to face her even though she wasn't looking at me yet. "What do you mean, what about us? There is no us" she stated finally turning to at me. Oh, how I'd missed looking at those eyes.

"Can we please just talk about this at least?" I pleaded. "What's to talk about George?" she shrugged. "We need to talk about us and our relationship" I said. "Relationship? What relationship? We were only fake dating. In all honesty George I don't even think there's a friendship here anymore" she said pointing between the two of us. She then turned around and began to walk back towards the manor.

I had to stop her from walking away from me, "I know!" I shouted causing her turn back around.

"Know what?" she said.

"I know you fell in love with me" I told her as I stepped forward.

"You don't know anything George" she shook her head.

"Yes, I do!" I shouted "Fred told me y/n"

"Well Fred had no right telling you anything" she said taking a deep breath.

"Fred what?" Fred said stepping outside causing us both to look at him. "I heard my name" he looked in between the both of us. I saw y/n shaking her head before she pushed past Fred and walked back inside. "What happened?" Fred asked visibly confused. "Nothing" I muttered angrily. "You bloody interrupted me from telling her how I really feel"

"Oh, I'm sorry George" he said.

We both walked back inside to join the party again but as if it was first instinct I looked around for y/n. I spotted her giving Daisy and some other girls a hug before she apparated on the spot and disappearing from the house.
