Chapter 21

"Hey! Wake up" a voice whispered as my body was shook. I opened my eyes to see Katie bell stood above me. "Just thought I'd wake you up the party starts in an hour and a half." I smiled as I sat up "Thanks" I replied.

I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and then proceeded to change once I had showered and washed my hair. I decided on wearing a black skirt and a white jumper which I tucked in slightly. whilst we were doing our hair and makeup, me and Katie chatted way. "You seem in a really good mood?" I said noting the huge smile that had been on her face since she had woken me up about an hour ago.

"Well, what's not to be happy about? Exams are over, we leave school in 3 days, and I may or may not be starting to get close with someone" she squealed the last part. "What?" I asked shocked but still really happy for her. "Who? you have to tell me" I pressed on. "All I'm going to say is watch for who I'm with tonight" and then she tapped the end of her nose. "Oh, come on you have to tell me!" I pressed again. "Just look out tonight" she smirked. "Well, I'm happy for you, you deserve it" I smile as I applied my lip gloss. "Thank you!" she said as we both hugged.

After finishing off some final touches we were both ready and so we made our way down to the common room. Katie went off with whoever and I talked with some other Gryffindor's for a while. As I was talking someone's hand grabbed me by shoulder and pulled me across the room.

"Bloody hell Fred! what's the matter?" I exclaimed when I saw that it was him. "Have you seen my brother?" he asks "No I assume he would be with you since You's were the ones organising this" I shook my head. "He was with me for a little and then he disappeared" Fred said. "Come to think of it haven't seen him since last night after dinner" I shrug. "You mean he hasn't even come to see how your exam went?" he asks as a look of shock spreads across his face. "No" I reply.

"I swear he just keep's running off, I assumed he was going to see you but apparently not" he says rubbing his hand across his temple. "I haven't got a clue Fred"

As the night went on there was still no sign of George, me and Fred stayed together and looked around for George but ended up giving up assuming he would turn up soon. We grabbed a drink and made our way to the far side of the common room where we sat on the windowsill and talked about some of our memories from our years at Hogwarts together.

"OMG do you remember when we put puking pastels in Snape's drink in 5th year?" Fred said with a huge smile on his face. "You mean you and George did? I just saved both of your arses and still ended up getting a detention!" I chuckled thinking about it.

"Oooh I have to tell you something" I said as a smirk crawled across my face. "What?" Fred raised his eyebrow looking at me. "You know when your hair was turned blue?" I took a swig of my drink as Fred said "Yes", I then continued on "That was all George and again I saved his ass" I said grassing on George. "What?" Fred said. "yup" I nodded before the pair of us burst out laughing. "Don't tell him it was me who told you though!" I warned.

"Of course, not" he laughed and then suddenly stopped. His face changed to a scowl and his eyes were now narrowed at something. "Fred? What's the matter?" I asked confused at his sudden change in mood. "I'm going to kill him" Fred muttered under his breath but I heard him. "What? Kill who?" I asked. "My brother that's who" he said putting hid drink down and standing up from the window.

I turned to look in the direction he was looking in, I couldn't see what he was looking at, at first through the crowd of people but then my heart stopped when my eyes finally landed on what he was looking at.

It was George and he was currently stood with his lips locked on to Katie Bells....
