After freshening up and changing into a new pair of clothes Minho got me, I walk downstairs with Seungmin.

Chan: Ah, you're here. I'm sorry that you have to leave so suddenly, none of us expected it either.

Why is he acting like we're going to an airport or something?

We're going to die.

And there's literally nothing we can do to stop this.

Chan: Follow me to the car.

Seungmin grabs onto my arm in fear as we follow him.

We get into the car and he starts driving deeper into the forest.

I notice the trees getting taller and more scary-looking, almost all the sunlight being covered up.

The creepy shadows dancing in the darkness surrounding us don't make the situation any better.

Only then, I realize how serious the situation really is.

Why did I not think about this earlier?

Did I think it was all some kind of joke?

Or did I expect my fathers to come save me somehow like they always do?

These are demons we're dealing with, it's obviously not gonna be that easy.

Am I really going to die?

Without doing anything to make my parents, my kingdom, proud?

I don't want this.

Jisung: Chan.

Chan: Mhm?

Jisung: I don't want to die.

He stays quiet, but I know he heard what I said.

Chan: I'm sorry, I can't help you...

Seungmin tightens his grip on my arm and my lips quiver.
