After talking my dad into meeting the guys to get a better impression of them, I lead him into my room.

Seungmin and Changbin are sitting on my bed, and their eyes widen in shock when they see my father next to me.

Jisung: Guys, I want to, uh, introduce you to my father.

Chan slowly gets up from behind the bed, the other three doing the same after him.

Father doesn't say anything and just stares at the four boys with a blank face.

Chan clears his throat to break the awkward silence.

Chan: Hello... sir... my name is Chan, Bang Chan.

He bows to show respect and my father nods.

Felix: Hello, I'm Lee Felix.

Hyunjin: My name is Hyunjin, Hwang Hyunjin.

Minho: Hello, my name is Lee Minho.

They all bow after their introductions and look at me to check if it was any good.

Before I can give them a signal, my father starts speaking.

Father: You all know who I am, the king of this empire, and Jisung's father. Jisung told me that you all are not dangerous, and I'm believing him for now. If I hear a word about any trouble you've created, I will make sure you all face the consequences. Understand?

Chan, Felix, Hyunjin, and Minho can easily take on half of our army, and they know that.

But my father is very intimidating, so they have no choice but to agree.

Father: Now, approximately how strong is the demon coming after Jisung?

Chan: Uhm, he can kill your entire kingdom if he were in good shape. He's weak at the moment from when we attacked him, but he's still very strong. The four of us alone can't take him on, so we'll need the help of your army.

Father: And when do you expect him to arrive?

Chan: Any moment now.

Father: Ah, then we have no time to waste. Follow me to the army base and you can tell them what to do.

Chan nods and they follow my father out of the room.

I let out a breath of relief.

Jisung: Oh my god, that was nerve-wracking.

Changbin: I couldn't even breathe properly because of how intimidated I was.

Seungmin: Jisung, your father is so scary.

Jisung: I know, I can't even imagine how they felt.

Changbin: I would have fainted.

Jisung: Yeah-

The loud sound of glass shattering and screams cut me off.

My eyes widen and I quickly peek out of the door.

I see a guard running to me, completely out of breath.

Guard: Prince, please stay inside your room and don't come out until someone instructs you to. A demon broke into the castle and is causing a lot of trouble.

Jisung: Already? I thought we would have some more time.

Guard: You... know about this?

Jisung: Yes, actually. That demon is coming to kill me...
