I carry Jisung to the car and lay him in the backseat.

I can't even imagine what would have happened if we hadn't followed Chan here in secret because of our curiosity.

Then, I run back into the building to help the others fight leader.

Minho: You freak! How dare you drink his blood!

I let my inner demon take over as I land a punch on his face.

Leader: What the hell do you think you're doing! I'm your leader! Get off me!

He pushes me away and tries to hit me, but Chan and Hyunjin quickly grab his arms.

Some other demons enter the room and join the fight, trying their best to fight the leader.

Leader has lived twice as long as us, so he's way stronger than us and has more powers like mind control and biokinesis.

The easiest way to actually kill a demon is to recite a chant, but that would mean killing all of the other demons in the room, including me, so that's not an option.

The only other way is to make leader come in contact with iron, but none of us can hold it or we'll get hurt too.

Suddenly, I remember Seungmin is here too.

Minho: Seungmin! Find iron!

Seungmin: I-iron?

Minho: Yes, hurry!

I hear Felix scream when leader escapes Chan and Hyunjin's grip, throwing them against the wall.

Shit!

Leader: You pathetic brats think you can defeat me?!

He swiftly waves his hand, making one of the other demons fall to the ground, clutching his throat.

A loud scream leaves his lips and he spurts blood out, making all of us step back in fear.

Leader: Chan, I had such high expectations for you...

With only a few seconds of eye contact, the leader takes control over Chan's mind.

Chan picks up one of the blades off the ground and brings it up to his chest.

Chan: L-leader... please-

He screams before he can finish when he digs the blade into his chest.

Of course, something like that wouldn't kill a demon, but it hurts like hell.

I see Seungmin in a corner holding a fork.

An iron fork, perfect.

Since leader would have to completely focus on Chan in order to keep him under control, I take the chance and lunge towards him.

I wrap my arms around his neck, putting him in a headlock.

Felix runs to me and helps me keep in one place.

Seungmin lets out a war cry and runs towards the leader before pushing the fork into his neck.

The leader loses control of Chan and lets out an ear-piercing scream, falling to the ground in pain.

Even though this will severely injure him, there's a small chance that he'll get out of it alive.

Felix and I help Chan up, Hyunjin goes to Seungmin, and we all start leaving the room.

We get into the car and drive back, everyone still tense from what happened.

Jisung and Chan are out cold, Seungmin is scared to death, and Felix has a huge cut on his back.

But I mean, it could've been worse.
