I see Jisung behind the demon and my eyes widen.

He's holding a sword, is he going to try stabbing the demon?

What if he gets hurt in the process. 

I should be protecting him!

Before I get a chance to stop him, Jisung lifts the sword into the air and pushes it into the demon's back, wincing when he hears the scream that leaves the demon's mouth.

He drops the sword and steps back, covering his mouth with his hands as if he can't believe he was the one who did it.

I push the now limp body off me and get up, immediately rushing to Jisung's side.

Minho: Jisung! Are you okay?

He nods, but the tears pooling in his eyes say otherwise.

Jisung: H-he's dead... I k-killed-

Minho: It's alright, Jisung. You saved me, you hear me? You saved my life. I'm so proud of you.

He looks up at me, his eyes still teary and his lips slightly pouted.

Jisung: Really?

Minho: Yeah, you're so brave. Not everyone would be able to do that.

I wrap my arm around his shoulders protectively and lead him to one of the empty rooms, which happen to have Changbin and Seungmin inside.

Changbin: Prince, are you okay?!

Seungmin: Minho, why is there blood on you?

Minho: I saw Jisung getting attacked by a demon and tried to help, but he turned out to be much stronger than I expected. Jisung had to get a sword and stab him. I think he's dead since he's not as high-level as leader. 

Seungmin: You're one job was to protect Jisung and you-

Suddenly, one of the soldiers bursts the door open and comes into the room.

Soldier: M-Minho, your leader is facing the king in a fight... w-we need your help-

Jisung: That monster is gonna fight my dad? I'm coming too-

Minho: Jisung, stay here. It won't be safe for you if you come.

Jisung: I don't give a damn! My father isn't safe either!

Before I can stop him, he runs out of the room towards the throne hall.
