Half Moon's POV

A/N- In part 1, I'm pretty sure I made it seem like the invaders were gone, but in this part the invaders are still there, theres just borders. I'm going to go through and edit everything eventually. I'm sorry for all the confusion, I had this book planned out, but j started getting new ideas that I liked more and changing things. Also, Jayfeather is purposely called Jaypaw at the beginning because its Half Moons POV, and she doesn't know his warrior name yet.

Half Moon had awoken from another one of her weird dreams. Her head was clouded in confusion, but she still heard a bunch of muttering coming from the main cave.

Slowly, she stood up, shaking off some of her confusion. She wobbled her way into the clearing, squinting her eyes at the huge group of cats crowded in the middle. She could smell something strange, but the smell was also familiar.

Her confused mind didn't even try to place the smell, instead, she pushed her way into the group, finally getting to see what everyone was freaking out about.

The moment she seen, all confusion was banished from her head.

Her breath caught in her throat, and her heart started racing.

Jaypaw. It had been awhile since she seen him, but she knew it was him. Squirrelflight was with him, and two other strange cats, but she couldn't spot either of his siblings.

She couldn't do anything but stare in shock. Jaypaw was glancing around anxiously, despite him not seeing anything.

Is he looking for me? Half Moon thought hopefully.

Of course not. He probaly forgot all about you.

Jaypaw finnaly looked her way, the anxiety in his eyes faded. His cloudy blue eyes were locked on hers, and all she could do was stare into them.

He had changed. He was a lot bigger, and he seemed to walk with much more confidence, which Half Moon hadn't thought possible.

He looked like he had seen a ghost, which Half Moon supposed he had. He is a training to be a medicine cat.

He's probaly finished his training by now.

Half Moon had finished her training, along with Pebble and Screech.

The thought of Screech sent a pang of guilt down her. He had been so kind and patient with her, and here she was, still fawning after a cat she could never have.

Half Moon's guilt faded instantly though, her thoughts once again taken over by Jaypaw.

"Why are they here!" Half Moon heard Stoneteller hiss.

Every cat was shocked. He never left the cave anymore, because he was becoming old and frail.

Night stepped forward, "They came to visit." She said softly.

Stoneteller's eyes flashed with anger. "They think we can't survive without them!" He hissed.

Jaypaw stopped forward, opening his mouth to speak. Half Moon felt a moment of panic, remembering how hot headed he was.

He's going to mess everything up!

"I assure you that is not the case. We wanted to see old freinds, and we thought these two could learn a lot from the journey, and from you guys. We have lots to teach each other." Jaypaw said smoothly.
