Jaypaws POV

A/N: I keep accidentally writing their warrior names, so if you see the wrong name please just ignore it.

"We have to go through that!" Breezepaw exclaimed.
They were standing in front of a huge waterfall, and Jaypaw could feel that none of the apprentices felt safe. The warriors, Crowfeather, Tawnypelt, Squirrelflight, and Brambleclaw were all calm, probably because they had been here before. Talon and Night were staring at the waterfall with a mixture of hope, excitement, and nervousness.

They're nervous of how the tribe will react, Jaypaw realized.

"It's warm inside." Tawnypelt assured him.

Jaypaw didn't like water, and the thought of jumping through a waterfall scared him, but he had come all this way to see the tribe, and he wasn't going to let water stop him. Besides, he would never admit he was scared in front of the others.

"Just watch how I jump, and you can go next." Brambleclaw mewed.

Brambleclaw jumped, and after hesitating a little Breezepaw followed. Squirrelflight led Jaypaw to the edge and Lionpaw fell in behind him.

Probably making sure I don't slip, Jaypaw thought, bitterly.

When Jaypaw reached the other side he smelled tons of cats, and could imagine them all gathering around the cats and muttering together.
All the cats moved aside to let a cat push his was through.

Brambleclaw dipped his head, "Greetings, stoneteller."

"How dare you come here." Stoneteller hissed.

Jaypaw felt all the clan cats stiffen with surprise. Jaypaw couldn't help being shocked too. Even without being able to see he could tell how hungry and weak they were.

"We came to help." Brambleclaw mewed, shock showing in his voice.

"The tribe does not need the help of clan cats!" Stoneteller hissed. "How dare you to come back here after you left us!" He spat angrily when he noticed Talon and Night standing with the clan cats.
Talon and Night backed up, and Jaypaw could feel fear pulsing from their pelts.

"We didn't betray the tribe." Talon said after hesitating, "We went to the clans to find help."

His fear shone in his voice, but Jaypaw was impressed he had the courage to speak at all with the waves of fear he could sense coming off of Talon Night.

"You abandoned us when we needed you most!"

Talon gave up and looked down. Stoneteller snarled at him, before turning to the clan cats.

"You can stay to eat and rest, but you must leave in the morning." Stoneteller hissed, then turned and vanished into a cave.

Loinpaw and Hollypaw looked confused.

"They're letting us stay the night?" Loinpaw gasped.

A gray cat that looked vaguely familiar, looked up when he overheard. "These are hard times, and Stontellers not as forgiving as he used to be, but he would never send visitors to starve in the night."

"No, but he has no problem letting his tribemates starve." Lionpaw mutterd.

The gray tom shot Lionpaw a look that showed he'd heard, but continued speaking kindly.

"I'm Stormfur, who may you be."

Hollypaw let out a gasp of shock, "The Stormfur!" She said excitedly," Like from the great journey."

Stormfur dipped his head, but before he could respond Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw came up, greeting him, and rubbing pelts.

"I see you've met my kits, Lionpaw, Hollypaw, and Jaypaw." Brambleclaw introduced us proudly, then added, "Jaypaws training to be a medicine cat."

Stormfur looked surprised, "You guys had kits!"

Stormfur looked at all of them, and seemed to notice Jaypaws blindness.
Jaypaw felt a flash of annoyance at the look at his eyes.

"You made the trip from the clans to the mountains!" He exclaimed. "That must've been didfficult." Stormfur said. Jaypaw could feel Stormfur's admiration, and it filled him with a smug sort of pride.

"I managed." Jaypaw hissed.

"Of course you did, you're here, aren't you?" Stormfur joked in amusement.

Lionpaw and Hollypaw stiffend beside him, expecting him to get angry. Jaypaw expected to feel angry, but something about Stormfur calmed him down.

"So, what have you and Brook been up to."Squirrelflight asked, breaking the awkward silence that had fallen.

Stormfur instantly got excited, "We had Kits!"

Tawnypelt and Crowfeather heard his news, and came over to greet and congratulate him.

Two new scents met Jaypaws nose. By the scent, he could tell it was two she cats, probably mother and daughter, and one was around his age.

"Brook, it's so good to see you." Squirrelflight greeted, while the others murmured agreement.

Brook pushed herself against Stormfur and said, "As you, Squirrelflight." She turned to the she-cat she had walked over with, "These are your fathers friends from the clans, why don't you introduce yourself."
The she-cat dipped her head. "Greetings, I'm Halfmoon."

Lionpaw and Hollypaw dipped their heads in greeting, and then introduced themselves, as well as introducing Jaypaw. Breezepaw just rolled his eyes and ignored her.

"I can show you to the to-bes den, that's where you will be staying tonight." The she-cat, Halfmoon, offerd.

"They would love that, Thank you." Squirrelflight said.

"Follow me." She said, and scampered off excitedly towards a cave, which Jaypaw assumed would be the to-bes den.

Jaypaw could smell other cats in the den, all around his age.
Obviously
"Halfmoon, you'll never believe what Screech di-" A she-cat ran up to Halfmoon, but stopped talking when she noticed the other cats.

Lionpaw stepped forward, "I'm Lionpaw, that's my sister Hollypaw, and my brother Jaypaw." Lionpaw flicked his tail to his siblings when intoducing them.

The she-cat that was talking before stepped forward and dipped her head, stretching a paw forward.
"I am Pebble That Rolls Down The Mountain." She told them, "and this annoying furball is my brother Screech of Angry Owl."
Screech stepped forward, and Jaypaw could tell he did the same weird gesture Pebble did.

A she-cat smaller then the others stepped forward, "I'm Splash When Fish Leaps." She introduced.

The other to-bes stood back, gazing at them with hesitance. Some of them sent them looks of hostility.
Jaypaw felt Half Moons eyes on him, then heard a gasp.

"Your blind!" She gasped.

Jayfeather felt anger and disappointment rising in him, he was going to be the odd one out again, all the tribecats would be looking at him.

Jaypaw let out a hiss of annoyance and opend his mouth to say something, but Hollypaw shoved her tail into his mouth.
