Half Moons POV

This Chapter is a little bit shorter, I think, but it has more Half moon and Jaypaw then most chapters. I wanted it to be forces on one main scene for this chapter, and I didnt want to stretch the scene out to long. It's slightly fluffy, and clears some things up. Sorry if that makes no sense.

Half Moon sat quietly in the corner, watching Jaypaw as he joked around with his siblings.

It had been 3 moonrises since she and Jaypaw had shared their meal.

Is he avoiding me? Half Moon wonderd sadly. No. The whole tribe is busy getting ready for the fight. Jaypaw is just busy helping Stoneteller. Half Moon assured herself

After the meal, Jaypaw had stopped talking to her, and Half Moon was still trying to assure herself that they've just been to busy to talk.

The tribe had started hunting more, and the cats who were participating in the attack on the trespassers got to eat the most.

Brambleclaw had tried telling Half Moon that she shouldn't fight, but that had resulted in a huge fight. Brambleclaw lost.

Half Moon had to avenge Pine.

"Why're you staring at him?" Pebble asked.

Half Moon snapped her head around. "I-im not staring." She stated.

Pebble gave her a playful shove. "Come on, tell me what your thinking."

"I'm not thinking anything."

"Oh, come on. Dont lie to me."

"Drop it, Pebble. Your imagining things." Half Moon lied. She was definitely staring.

Pebble gave her a sideways glance. "You've always told me everything." She murmerd sadly.

Half Moon felt a stab of guilt. She usually did tell Pebble everything. But how was she supposed to explain to Pebble somthing she didn't understand herself.

"I'm sorry. I just don't want to talk about it."

Pebble sighed. "What are we doing today?"

Half Moon rolled her eyes, "Resting. The attack is going into action in 3 moonrises."

"Your lucky. You actually get to fight." Screech said, sitting down next to them.

Half Moon hissed angrily, "Fighting isn't a game!"

Screech stared at her in shock. "I never said it was."

Half Moon shook her head. "I'm not lucky. I hate this!"

Pebble purred sympathetically and wrapped her tail around her. Screech curled up beside her and licked her ears soothingly.

They really were the best freinds ever.

¡¿¡¿¡¿¡¿¡¿¡¿¡¿¡¿¡¿¡¿¡¿¡¿¡¿¡¿¡¿¡¿¡¿¡¿¡¿¡¿¡¿¡

Half Moon was curled up in her nest, but she couldn't seem to sleep. She felt like throwing up. She couldn't get her mind off the battle.

I have to fight. They deserve to die! She thought

No matter how hard she tried to convince herself that was true, it wasnt. Some of the cats were innocent. They didnt all kill her brother.

She was laying there trying to figure out a way to get rid of her guilt when she noticed a cat slipping out of the to-bes den.

Who was that... Half Moon wonderd.
