Half Moons POV

Half Moon was fixing up one of the tribe cat, Thistle.

Jaypaw was sitting with Hollypaw and Lionpaw in the corner. There weren't any other cats near them, since everyone was wounded from the battle and trying to sleep.

Hollypaw and Lionpaw kept exchanging glances, but Hollypaw was to far away to see what type of glances they were. Jaypaw seemed to be explaining somthing important to them.

Half Moon wasn't focused on their conversation though. She was focused on somthing else. And, no, for once it wasn't Jaypaw. She was focused on Lionpaw.

She knew that earlier in the cave of pointed Stones Jaypaw had siad that Lionpaw was fine, but she thought he'd at least have some scratches.

Another think that was bothering her, Lionpaw had some poultice spread across him in some places. To other cats, it would look as if he was scratched. But Half Moon knew a little about herbs, and she could tell that there was no scratches underneath the herbs.

So, the conclusion she got from that was that they were trying to cover somthing up. Sure, it was weird that Lionpaw didn't have any scratches, but it was even weirder that Jaypaw had put a poultice on him to cover up the fact that he had no scratches.

Speaking of poultices, she had just finished applying Thistles. Saying goodbye to him, she looked around for another cat.

"Everyone is fine. Take a break." Pebble said.

She was sitting on a rock, with Screech beside her.

Half Moon scaned the crowd of cats one last time, before deciding that Pebble was right. She walked over, and sat at Pebbles side. She ignored the fact that Screech was there.

They all sat awkwardly for awhile. After sitting in awkward silence for what felt like forever, Pebble broke.

"Will you guys please just try to make up? I hate this awkward silence!" She cried out.

Half Moon looked down. She was sad that she was upsetting Pebbke, but she was really upset with Screech.

Screech looked away too. Pebble looked between the two of them, then ran away. Half Moon sighed.

She lived with Screech. She'd have to talk to him eventually, becuase he was never going to approach her first.

"You need to apologize." Half Moon announced, still not looking at Screech.

"To Pebble? Why?" He asked. He sounded throughly counfused.

"To me, mousebrain! You hurt my feelings!" Half Moon hissed, finally looking at him.

His eyes flashed guilty, but their was also annoyance in them.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said what I did. I was just upset you were spending more time with him then me... and Pebble. Shouldn't we be more important to you?"

Half Moon hissed. "Your all my freinds! Your all important to me! I'm not choosing favorites!"

Screech looked down. "I know that now. I was being overdramatic..."

Half Moon nodded. "That's good enough, I guess. But your not fully of the hook yet."

Screech chuckled. "I missed talking to you." He purred.

Half Moon looked up. "Me too." She purred happily.

Realizing she was staring at him, she quickly looked away.

"I know it isn't any of my business, but.. do you like Jaypaw? Like, like him like him?"

Half Moon chuckled nervously. She had felt comfortable telling Pebble, but Screech was diffrent.
