Half Moons POV

A/N- Whenever I sit down with the intention of writing one of my dogs will jump into my lap and distract me 😔 just thought that was a fun fact- Scarlett.

"Wait up!" Half Moon called to Pebble.

They had gone out hunting, and Pebble was quickly jumping from rock to rock. Half Moon was falling behind slightly.

"Not not fault your a slow poke!" Pebble called back, but slowed her pace despite her words.

Half Moon finally caught up to Pebble, who had stopped and was dropping into a crouch.

Following her gaze, Half Moon seen a rabbit sitting in the middle of some bushes. Narrowing her eyes, she dropped into a crouch.

When Pebble jumped, another rabbit leapt from the bushes, just as Half Moon expected. She quickly jumped onto it and swiftly bite its neck, killing it.

"Good job. I had no idea there was another one in there!" Pebble exclaimed, dropping her Rabit under a nearby rock.

"That's because you don't ever think!" Half Moon joked.

Pebble purred. "Come on, I want to go towards the stream and circle back around. Theres less a chance if running into trespassers this way." Pebble said. She waited impatiently while Half Moon dropped her rabbit beside Pebble's, then dashed off, leaving Half Moon behind again.

"Pebble!" Half Moon yelled, with shocking annyounce.

((()))((()))((()))((()))((()))((()))((()))((()))((()))

How is she not exhausted! Half Moon thought. They were walking back to grab the two rabbits, and had managed to catch a small bird and mouse. Its not much, but it's more than we usually get! Maybe I can share the mouse with Jayfeather?

Looking up, Half Moon noiticed how far behind she was, and sped up. "Wait up! I'd I have to tell you one more time, I'm going to push you over the next dangerous ledge I see!"

Pebble stopped, facing Half Moon with confused expression. "That's very morbid. If you don't speed up, I'm going to... push you into the waterfall!"

Half Moon gasped. "Well, if you don't take that back, I'm going to drown you in a mud puddle!"

Pebble giggled, once again rushing forward. She was walking up to the rock they hid the rabbits under. "If you don't take that back, I'll feed you to the-" Whatever Pebble was saying was cut off by a shocked gasp.

"What's wrong?"

"They stole them!" Pebble exclaimed, anger taking over her shocked expression.

"Who stole what?" Half Moon asked, speeding up to quickly run over to Pebble.

"The trespassers stole the rabbits!"

Reaching Pebble, Half Moon felt anger rush over her. The rabbits were gone, only bones left. And the stench of the trespassers was heavy in the air.

"This is our territory! Its bad enough they're crossing the borders, but stealing our prey, that we caught! I should've known this would happen! Why did we ever take their word? Their no good kit-killing fox-hearts!" Half Moon rushed out.

"Let's go report back!" She said, and once again rushed ahead. Half Moon kept up this time, her anger driving her.

When they got back, they dropped their prey on the pile, and went to find somone to tell.
