Old Lady Sakura’s Apartment

9:00 AM

Hawks had made it to the old women's door in a fair amount of time. He played with his hair a bit before he knocked on the door. He sighed because Hawks was bored. He figured this was because he went against Aya's orders.

He couldn't blame her, he knew what he did was wrong. In the legal sense anyway as Hawks was the kind of person to support his decisions. Simply put he could see both the pros and cons of his situation and the decisions that had placed him there.

The door opened revealing an old lady who held a cane with a dragon on it.

Hawks: So you must be Sakura

Sakura: Yes yes come in I assume Aya sent you

Hawks: Do you know her

Sakura: Do I know her, hah I know more about her then she knows about herself. But that is not what we are here to talk about the incident I witnessed the other night.

Hawks: Yes could you tell me what you saw

Sakura: Well maybe I should show you

Sakura walked over to a table and picked up a piece of paper with a drawing on it. The drawing was a male wearing a beige trenchcoat, he had black hair and blue flames surrounding him.

Hawks: Wow was that your quirk

Sakura: Not every thing is a quirk you know, you youngsters are used to everyone having some kind of quirk. More and more quirks are an issue

Hawks: What do you mean by that

Sakura: Well young man awhile back I attended a lecture about the dangers of the evolution of quirks. The fellow Doctor Garaki or something like that was saying quirks were evolving so fast that eventually the human body won't be able to handle it

Hawks: Is that really true

Sakura: Of course it is, but you see no one belived him then again he was much younger back then.

Hawks: So do you not have a quirk

Sakura: That is not the point, look at you making an old lady ramble on about the past

Hawks: I'm sorry could you tell me some more about the incident

Sakura: Yes yes, so it's quite simple really, this man came into the alleyway outside my window, there was a robbery and I was going to call the police but then the man used his blue flames to kill both the robber and the person being robbed. Then he took somethings out of their wallets and left the alley.

Hawks: Did you hear him say anything, like a threat or a warning. Even a description of an accent would be extremely helpful

Sakura: I didn't hear a thing he said, I was scared because I thought he was that Hero Killer

Hawks: Don't worry about the hero killer, I fan assure you he is a myth

Sakura: Sure it is, heroes could be dieing for now reason and maybe the sightings were fake. But I'll trust you

Hawks: Anyway I have to get going, thank you for you time

Sakura looked at Hawks, she had been watching him closely for their entire conversation and she saw how he got when she talked about quirks. She was amassed but she could see why Aya chose him over the others.

She knew what Aya wanted in a subordinate and Hawks was that, still she could tell that Hawks was someone who would hold a grudge. Looking into him she could see it. This thing that led her to see what his fate could hold

While it wasn't a quirk Sakura had learned how to read people and she saw how he would die, Hawks will die not by being weak but pride and his addiction to holding a grudge. It was a shame but she knew Aya would work through it.

Sakura: Of course you do Hawks, it was a pleasure to meet you

Hawks noticed that she knew his name almost like she had known his name this entire time. It could be test from Aya but he wasn't sure, for now he would have to find out more about this mysterious blue flame serial killer.

*Author's Note*

My design for a pre main story Dabi came from old crime movies where villains would wear trenchcoats. I wanted a Dabi that was new to killing yet he was getting used to it which is why I stayed away from his edgey side and focused on the aspects of the world.

Next Doctor Garaki's theory about quirks is in the MHA Actual cannon so if you want a more in depth explanation look into it because it opens up a lot of interesting concepts.

Anyway I hope you are enjoying this spin off as I like the spin off more than the final chapters of Volume 5 and I want to improve vastly on the series.
