As the boys kept talking and eating lunch Alex pointed something out,
"𝙻𝚘𝚘𝚔 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝'𝚜 𝚘𝚗𝚎 𝚘𝚏 𝚓𝚊𝚌𝚘𝚋'𝚜 𝚏𝚛𝚒𝚎𝚗𝚍𝚜,"
Everyone turned to look at two boys talking by another tree on the field.
"𝚆𝚑𝚘'𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝚑𝚒𝚖?"
George looked over to the commotion joined by alexes gaze,
"𝚓𝚘𝚜𝚑, 𝚖𝚢 𝚛𝚘𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚝𝚎. 𝙽𝚘𝚝 𝚜𝚞𝚛𝚎 𝚠𝚑𝚢 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚢 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚘 𝚋𝚎 𝚑𝚘𝚗𝚎𝚜𝚝."
Will said with a confused look pulling out his phone to find josh's contact.
"𝚠𝚑𝚢?"
Fraser questioned looking over to will,
"𝚑𝚎 𝙷𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚖."
Will shrugged, and looked back over and Fraser joined him,
"𝚃𝚑𝚎𝚢 𝚕𝚘𝚘𝚔 𝚊 𝚕𝚒𝚝𝚝𝚕𝚎 𝚝𝚘𝚘 𝚌𝚕𝚘𝚜𝚎 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚝, 𝙸 𝚏𝚎𝚎𝚕 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚒𝚜 𝚐𝚘𝚗𝚗𝚊 𝚋𝚎 𝚊 𝚏𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝.."
Stephan pitched in getting weirdly exited,
"𝙸'𝚍 𝚜𝚊𝚢 𝚕𝚎𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚒𝚝, 𝚝𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚖𝚎 𝚓𝚘𝚜𝚑 𝚌𝚊𝚗 𝚑𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚕𝚎 𝚑𝚒𝚖𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚏."
Will stated smiling, he was still looking at josh before turning back to the group.
"𝚘𝚔𝚊𝚢,"
Stephen replied smiling,
Joshy started to head off, passing the main group leaving Jacob's friend to wonder away.
"𝚆𝚑𝚘 𝚠𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚘?"
Will asked as josh walked past, he stopped in his tracks to answer. He turned around to meet wills eyes,
"𝚑𝚊𝚛𝚛𝚢, 𝚘𝚗𝚎 𝚘𝚏.... 𝚓𝚊𝚌𝚘𝚋𝚜... 𝚏𝚛𝚒𝚎𝚗𝚍𝚜."
He looked away as he knew how they treated Alex and had only just noticed Alex sitting there,
"𝚘𝚑? 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚊𝚕𝚛𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝?"
Will said, he was concerned that josh was in an argument with them and wanted to help, he also just really wanted drama as school had been quite quiet ever since the cafeteria incident.
"𝚢𝚎𝚊𝚑,"
Josh smiled at will, who returned the smile,
"𝚜𝚒𝚝 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝚞𝚜?"
Stephen pipped up, he wanted the group to be bigger and the more the merrier! Stephen wanted to me more popular and having a big friend group was one way to do it.
George didn't disagree as he too, wanted to be popular.
"𝚘𝚔𝚊𝚢,"
He smiled again and sat next to Fraser who moved out slightly to make room for him,
"𝚆𝚎 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚝𝚛𝚢𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚘 𝚐𝚎𝚝 𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚐𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚙 𝚜𝚕𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝𝚕𝚢 𝚋𝚒𝚐𝚐𝚎𝚛."
Will announced proudly, he said exactly what the other two were thinking.
Alex looked at George with a smile praying George would read him like a sign,
"𝚠𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚊𝚋𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚡'𝚜 𝚏𝚛𝚒𝚎𝚗𝚍𝚜?"
George said smiling at the group Alex celebrated inside, George knew him well.
"𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚡, 𝚊𝚜𝚔 𝚕𝚎𝚠𝚒𝚜 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚓𝚊𝚖𝚎𝚜 𝚒𝚏 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚢 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚝 𝚝𝚘 𝚜𝚒𝚝 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝚞𝚜 𝚝𝚘𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚘𝚠?"
Alex nodded at Stephen trying to hide his excitement, his friends will finally see that George isn't that bad.
"𝚢𝚎𝚊𝚑, 𝚘𝚔𝚊𝚢."
He said,
"𝙳𝚘𝚗'𝚝 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚛𝚢 𝚐𝚎𝚘𝚛𝚐𝚎 𝚒𝚏 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚍𝚘𝚗'𝚝 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚝 𝚝𝚘 𝚋𝚎 𝚜𝚘𝚌𝚒𝚊𝚕 𝚠𝚎 𝚌𝚊𝚗 𝚜𝚙𝚕𝚒𝚝 𝚞𝚙 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚢 𝚗𝚘𝚠 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚗?"
Will said looking up at him, even through George hated being babied, he did like the idea of being separated if he wanted to be.
He smiled and nodded,

He smiled helping Alex up but not letting go of his hand until he realised and quickly dropped it.
Josh nodded back at George as he started to head off, carrying alex's bag for him.
Will smiled and waved goodbye as they headed out of sight.
Josh looked back to see Stephen staring at him,
"𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝚔𝚗𝚘𝚠 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚒𝚛 𝚗𝚊𝚖𝚎𝚜."
Stephen said in a pushy tone,
"𝚠𝚑-"
Joshy began confused,
Stephen cut him off,
"𝚠𝚑𝚘 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚍𝚎𝚛𝚛𝚒𝚌𝚔'𝚜 𝚏𝚛𝚒𝚎𝚗𝚍𝚜?"
Joshy made a silent 'O' sound with his mouth,
"𝚠𝚎𝚕𝚕 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚒𝚜, 𝚑𝚊𝚛𝚛𝚢 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚞𝚑𝚑,
He looked up trying to remember the name of the one who only cared about money,
It suddenly appeared into his mind.
