Colleen POV
Josh and I had spent a lot of time apart the last few months and it wasn't slowing down any time soon as I was always on tour. I am trying to lock away as many shows as possible so that we can live comfortably without a worry. I want to dedicate my time to my future kids and not have to worry about always being on the road. Josh and I have always talked about marriage and kids so its just waiting for the right time. Rachel and I were in tour for 3 weeks straight and we were flying home today. Both of us were sick with colds so we were both excited to see our men and our own beds.
"Are you excited Rachel?" I asked her. "Yes but Matt already told me he ain't kissing me with this cold" she said laughing. "Josh better kiss me or I am turning around and getting back on a plane" I said smiling. The plane landed and we were itching to get off the plane but of course people are jerks when leaving the plane and stand in the aisles and take their sweet ass time. I thought Rachel was gonna kill someone. We make it off and both of us head to the baggage claim area where the boys will be. I see Josh and I start running to him. He looks up from his phone and our eyes meet and before I knew it I was kissing him in his arms. His arms squeezed me in closer to him. "Colleen I missed you baby" he says and he kisses me again. "How you feeling honey?" He asks. "Like Rudolph" I say. I look over at Rachel and she is making out with Matt. I tap her on the shoulder and said "I thought he wouldn't kiss you because you were sick?" "He couldn't resist me" she says and he hugs her tight. I am so happy for Rachel. I always feel like she sits in the shadows with me. She seems like she is full of self confidence but I think she struggles and is envious. What she doesn't understand is that she is so much better at some things then me and her tough exterior is actually a wall to protect herself. Matt has decreased that wall for her. Brought the softer side of her out and she is just plain happier.
Josh POV
I grab Colleens bags and help her out to the car with Matt and Rachel. We all jump in and head to dinner. We go somewhere quick so the girls can get home and rest. They are exhausted.
We finish up dinner and drop Matt and Rachel off and before they can even get inside their apartment building they are kissing. "I love how happy Rachel is now" I say to Colleen. She nods. "Ya I was thinking that earlier" she says. "He is really serious about her too. He told me tonight" I say. "Well he better not propose before you do" she says with a smile. "Ya ya" I say and then Colleen smacks me.
We finally pull up to our house. We bought it 2 months ago. I walk in the door and I see Josh has bought almost every kind of cold medicine. "I didn't know what kind you wanted so I bought you a bunch of kinds" I say. Colleen starts laughing and she hugs me. "I love you Joshua"she says as she leans in to kiss me.
