Colleen POV
I am packing up my stuff and I am miserable. This piece of my tour is 2.5 weeks long. I am putting clothes in my suitcase as I am crying. Josh has been upset all morning. We obviously had been apart longer but now that we are engaged things have heightened somewhat. I throw the last of my things in and zip it up. Just as I stand up Josh comes in and hugs me. His face is tear stained. "Josh come with me babe" I say. He looks down " I wish I could" he says. I know he has meetings and projects of his own but I thought I would try. " Okay then lets get this over with" I say as I roll my suitcase out to the car. We silently sit in the car. "Josh please call me at least once a day ok?" I ask. " babe you don't need to ask me that... I will be calling you more than that" he says. " Be careful" I say to him as we pull up to the drop off lane at the airport. He nods. I lean into him and kiss him. I see tears in his eyes and I have to go. I break the kiss and grab my bags and wave goodbye to him and walk over to Rachel who is waiting for me. Rachel looks like she has a rough day as well. Her eyes are blood shot. "This Miranda thing is a real bitch sometimes hey?" She says sarcastically. "Too bad she pays the bills" I say chuckling to myself.
Josh POV
I pull away from the airport and I try to stop crying. Ever since she said she would be my wife I have wanted to be with her 100% of the time. She is my heartbeat. I cannot wait to make it official.
I return home and see that Colleen snapchatted me. I open it up and its her beautiful face blowing me a kiss and saying I LOVE YOU. It melts my heart. I breathe through it and start working to get my mind off of it.
A few hours later Colleen calls me and we talk for a bit. She is letting me know she got there safely. "Ok baby. I love you and have a good sleep" I say. "You as well Josh. Love you" she says. Travel is so hard in both of us.
Before I know it we are only a few days away from when she will be back with me. I phone her and Rachel answers Colleens phone. "Hey bro. She is in the shower. She is bitchy today Josh... I am warning you"she says. "why?" I ask. " A club operator was giving her a hard time at sound check" she says. "Oh. Please tell her to call me before the show ok?" I ask her.
A few minutes later she calls. "Hey baby. I hear you are having a rough day babe?" I ask her. "Yup" she says coldly. "Want me to do anything for you?" I ask. "I am a big girl Josh. I can handle it" she says. "I was just trying to..." I get cut off. " again I got it" she says. "Colleen I am just trying to be supportive there is no need to be like this towards me" I say. I am almost in tears. She knows it and quickly starts backtracking. "Ive got to go Colleen. Night" I say and hang up.
