Colleen POV
Josh and I had a wonderful birthday celebration and every year once my birthday is done we start getting ready for Christmas. So on the way home we stop at some boutiques I saw on the way up here. Josh and I are walking hand in hand looking at all the wonderful decorations the stores have up while he sips on a Starbucks and I am enjoying an ice cream cone. We walk by a childrens boutique and of course I stop. I look at all the cute things the window has on display. I feel Josh wrap his arms around me. "Lets come back here in a few months ok babe? Then we can start buying stuff" he says. "Yes would love to have one more weekend like this before the baby is born when we have no time for ourselves" I say. "We need to make time babe"he says. I nod. "Have you thought of any names Joshua for a boy or girl?" I ask him. "I like the name Noah for a boy but for a girl I will let you choose" he says smiling. "Okay for a girl I like the name Georgia" I say watching his reaction. He stops. "Well she has to always remember where her daddy is from" I say as I reach up to his face. He has tears running down his face. I kiss him. "You like that name?" I ask. "Love it....thank you baby" he says and hugs me hard.
Josh POV
Over the next few weeks Colleen and I are getting ready for Christmas. I think Colleen is forgetting she is pregnant sometimes because she is trying to do everything she did before. "Babe even though your stomach is still flat you are still pregnant. You have to take it easy hun" I say to her as she is moving around from one room to another. She nods. She isn't listening to me. "I am just getting stuff together for my new show in the New Year so I don't have to think about it anymore. It will be all ready to go" she says. This is a sore subject with us. I want her to be done now but she wants and thinks she can continue until early March. "Colleen how many shows have you got booked babe?" I ask her. "Ummmm I have show dates until Feb 22nd. But they are booking me for another three weeks after that" she says. "Colleen remember when we argued when you got sick and we didnt talk it out?" I ask. "Yes" she says. "We need to talk ok?" I say while pulling her to sit with me.
She sits on my lap looking at me. "I dont think you know how hard it will be on your body being that pregnant and trying to do a show babe. I know we said we would talk it out so can I make a suggestion or compromise?" I ask. "What do you think is reasonable Josh?" she asks. "I would be happy with you going til Feb 22 or even one more week after that but thats it" I say. "I really think you will thank me babe" I add. She sits and thinks as I place my hand on her tummy. "Ok I will tell them March 1st I am done touring" she says and she leans in to kiss me. "Also one more thing....I will be coming with you on most of these tours. I want to make sure you are happy,healthy and safe" I add. She hugs me and kisses my neck "We would love that babe" she says.
