Colleen Pov
Its been 24 hours since being in the hospital and the fever is gone and the infection is being treated. Josh is a mess and he is exhausted as he never left. They are putting me on pill form antibiotics and discharging me. I need food. I start getting dressed and Josh is making sure I am good. We walk out and hold hands. He is staying one more night before going home. I cuddle up to him. "Thank you for coming baby" I say to him. He kisses the top of my head and says "I will always be there when you need me". We climb in the car with Rachel and decide to get some dinner. Josh is quiet. He doesn't want me to continue touring. "Why so quiet babe?" I say to him. "You know why" he says. I look away as I dont want to cause a fight and I start to eat. We finish our dinner and go back to the hotel.
As soon as I walk in the hotel Josh flops in the bed. I do the same and try to cuddle him. He doesn't touch me. "What is your problem Josh?" I ask him. "I think you should come home and rest" he says. "I am fine Josh" I say. "Colleen you are not fine! You just had two different antibiotics pumped into you and fever meds your body is sick" he says with tears in his eyes.
Josh POV
I am so annoyed. She needs to take a break. She is always go go go. " The antibiotics will work. Just need to sleep tonight. I can't let down my cookies" she says. " why wont you listen to me for once?" I say. "I will be home in a few weeks" she says. There is no reasoning with her. I drop the subject and crawl into bed. She crawls into bed and faces away from me.
Colleen POV
The next morning I hear Josh showering. He comes out all dolled up and walks over to his bag and zips it up. " I am leaving now Colleen. I will phone you when I get home" he says coldly. He kisses my cheek and goes to walk out the door. "Joshua why did you bother to come? You are so pissed off with me because I need to continue working. We spent the last twelve hours basically not even communicating or touching each other. I wanted you to cuddle me last night but you didn't. You are just so angry"I say. " Colleen you are sick. It scares me and upsets me that you don't think so. I came here because I love you and am arguing now because I love you Colleen not Miranda!" He says. He turns around walks out the door. I just sat there and stared into blank space. Tears streamed down my face. I couldn't believe what just happened.
