Josh POV
She has been home for a few days and Colleen and I are laying in bed. We are taking a day off completely from doing anything video related. We are going to Disneyland. Colleen loves it and and all of her family is going. She is hopping all over the house with excitement. "Babe have you got everything?" I ask her. "Yup" she says as she shoves some tanning lotion into her knapsack. We jump in the car and head to the park. We meet up with everyone at the front gates for 11am. We lotion up the kids and start walking. The kids want to see the Main Street parade so we go and wait for it to start sitting on the curb. I walked up to get the kids and Colleen and I some slushies while we wait. I start to hear the music play and we all sit and watch. We start seeing the regular Disney characters dancing around and having a blast. I look over at Colleen and she is singing all of the songs. She is a Disney fanatic. I squeeze her hand and she smiles so big. She is definitely in a happy place.
Colleen POV
It doesnt matter how many times I see a movie or stage production or even a parade of Disneys that I don't instantly fall in love with it. I have Bailey sitting on my lap and we are both loving it. I look for Josh and Chris tells me he took Jacob to the bathroom. I turn my attention back to the parade and notice Prince Charming and Cinderella's float next. Bailey is jumping up and down. She loves it. I hear the song "some day my prince will come" and we watch Cinderella and Prince Charming dance along the pavement until they stop right in front of us. They slowly let go of each other and I see Josh come walking through between them. He gets down on one knee and I start crying. I look back to all my family members and they are all crying too.
"Colleen I have loved you since day 1 and I will love you until day one million. You are the best thing that has happened to me. You are the girl I always dreamed about finding. Because of that I want to make sure we are together for ever. Colleen Mae... Will you marry me and make me the happiest man in the world?" he says crying now. "Yes of course baby" I say rubbing his cheeks. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a gorgeous ring and slides it onto my finger. I stand up and kiss him and them hug him. The crowd around us is applauding and hollering and the parade has even halted. It was an amazing moment in my life that I will never forget.
