4. She is the girlfriend of Cayde-6, the Vanguard Hunter.

5. She avenged him, she haunted and killed the Scorn Barons and Uldren Sov.

6. She is willing to give everything to have him back, even ghostless.

Back to now.

Reader's P.O.V :

2 months had passed from his death. But he wasn't the only one who died that day. I died too. I thought that by avenging him, he would come back.

I was a fool and I still am.

I think that by sitting on a chair in the corner of my small balcony and praying the Traveler to bring him back.

I sigh.

The other 2 Vanguards are coming and seeing me regularly. The previous week Zavala asked me if I was interested in becoming the next Vanguard Hunter. I answered him that I needed time to think about it.

Would he like me to become his successor ? Would he be angry or or proud of me ?

" What should I do ? " I whisper to myself.

" Move on. " My ghost replies.

I turn to look at him and answer : " I can't do that. I love him ! His is my soulmate. I can't live without him. " And start crying again.

I cried and cried until I came up with an idea. Of course. It is obvious. With a jump, I had gotten up and looking straight at the Traveler.

" I sat here and cried enough. I had done so much for you and for humanity. I only want one thing, him. I don't know what will you do to accomplish it, just do something. " I state with all the confidence I can master and leave the house.

♤10 months later♤

12 months had passed from his death, 1 year. I am still crying for his death.

I decided to continue his work and become the next Vanguard Hunter. I think that he would be proud- I hope so.

I have been doing my job well. Zavala and Ikora are very happy that I moved on. Well, I maybe do missions, but I will never have a relationship again.

Cayde is unique - no wrong again - correction, he was. He was the only one who could make me laugh. He was the only one who understood me.

I sigh.

He died, but I, like all the hunters, will never forget him.

Now, I am sitting on his spot, giving to my hunters missions. I can see now, why he was searching ways to leave the Tower. Being stuck in a place, for so long freaks me out.

Can I do something to avoid it ?

No.

I sigh again.

I turn to look at my watch. Time for lunch. Thanks the light, I gonna leave this place, even for a little.

I enter the Courtyard, I need to give to Zavala a report of one of my Hunters about the situation in Cosmodrome after the attack of a Hive Witch.

I pass the guards and say hello.

" Hi my friend. " He greets me back and smiles. " Do you have a report for me or you are here to talk ? " He adds.

" This is the report for that Witch. " I answer handing him the report.

" Thank you. " He says.

" You're welcome. " I reply.

I turn to leave and see something blue on the Hangar's Stairs. I stand frozen still looking at that blue moving thing. Zavala notices where my span attention is and does the same. 

" It can't be. " Zavala whispers.

That blue ' Thing ' is an Exo. A blue Exo. The blue Exo. He is standing now, next to Kadi looking at me with a big smile. 

I run and hug him. He is back ! My blue-cute-stupid Exo is back ! 

" Hello kitten. " He whispers and kisses my forehead.

Alright, now I am crying again. He notices it and hugs me tighter.

Silence. No one in the Courtyard is speaking. They are just frozen in their positions staring at us.

" How ? " I ask, my voice is a whisper.

" Well, I don't know. I thought I died and then I wake up and see Sundance hovering above me. She told me that the Traveler repaired her and she reborn me. " He explains.

Everyone are watching us,  everybody are hearing us.

I break the hug, take his hand in mine and look at everyone.

" What are you waiting for ? Don't you have things to do ? " I shout to be sure that everyone heard me.

Cayde didn't respond. He just stood there looking at me.

I start walking and he follows me. I lead him to my home and lock the door.

We passed a wonderful day, we two alone.

The next day.

Cayde is sleeping peacefully next to me. I get up and wear a robe.

I go to my balcony, sit on my chair and look at the Traveler.

" Thank you. " I whisper.
