Reader's P.O.V :

I wake up. Yesterday, I focused on doing battlegrounds to reduce Caiatl's power.

Today, I will pass my day doing Crucible. I get up and start doing my morning routine.

I leave my house, wearing my full armor and having eaten breakfast. I walk in the roads of the Last Safe City. It is so beautiful. Watching the children playing football and being so happy. I am so glad.

In no time, I am at the Tower. Home, sweat home. I enter the Bazaar and wave at Ikora, she waves back. I ascend the stairs and go to Banshee to grab some bounties for calibration. I say a hi at Kadi and check if I have any messages and then go to Tess to see if she has something interesting. Unfortunately, she hasn't, so I continue my way and exchange some words with Zavala. After this, I go to the Hangar to say a Good Morning to Amanda, Cayde and Saint.

I return to the Courtyard and recall that I have some engrams, I go to Master Rahool to decipher them. Well, I have two new guns and one new leg armor. I won't use them, so I store them at my vault.

Only one person had left. Lord Shaxx.

I sigh.

Jeez, I like him so much and I am sure he hasn't even noticed. Anyway, now I gonna do some Crucible and need bounties, so I will speak with him. Calm down and don't blush. Everything will be fine.

I inhale and exhale to draw courage. After some moments, I think I am ready.

I enter his area and look at him.

" Good morning ( Y/N ). " He says.

" Hey Shaxx. " I greet smiling.

" I see that you will do Crucible today. " He remarks. " Don't you think that this is a little early for that ? " He asks.

I turn to look at my watch, it is 8 o'clock. Most of the guardians wake up at 9 o'clock. Oh shit.

" I ... em ... guess that I am a little early, yes it is true and the matches start at 10 but I will go first to EDZ and do some warm up. " I answer trying to keep my voice stable.

" I see. " He responds observing me. I can not see his face, I've never seen his face, but I can understand very well what his facial expressions are and when is he using them.

I can not help it. I blush due to this move. Not a lot but I blush and look away. I focus on his computer. There is a list with the yesterday's matches.

" ( Y/N ), look at me. " He orders and I abide by. I look at his helmet. He grabs my hand and leads me to a room. I do nothing to fight him. I am curious and confused. What does he want ? What is he gonna do ? What are his intentions ?

We enter the room and he closes the door. I stay frozen still looking at him. He comes closer and takes my hands in his.

" ( Y/N ). You are my best friend and you know that. " He stops to point his words out. Oh perfect. He understood that I like him and he doesn't like me back. Perfect. Rejection...

" But lately, I feel something more than friendship about you. " He adds and his words really catch me off guard. He likes me !? Omg, he likes me !!!!!

" So, I thought that this is the time for me to show you my face. " He continues and takes off his helmet.

He leaves it on a table in the corner of the room. My eyes are widen because of his face. His eyes, hair, lips, everything of his is so perfect and beautiful. Why is he hiding it ?

He comes closer again. He puts his hands on my shoulders waiting for response. With my right hand I caress his cheek and with my left hand I touch his chest.

He smiles and moves his hands around my waist to pull me closer. My both hands move to play with his hair. He bows his head and kisses me. I kiss him back. The sensation of the kiss is so perfect. Finally, my lips against his. The kiss becomes passionate. He pulls me against the wall while we fight for dominance.  Equal versus equal. He slows a little and I win, but then he squeezes my ass making me moan, fact that made him the winner.

He breaks the kiss to breath and looks at me. I smile and say : " This is the best warm up ever. "
