Chapter 11

"You're awake." I hear a guy say.

I sit up and see Kai sitting across on a patient bed. I hear the door bang and see Iris and AJ outside, face all over the door window and I can see them smiling... "oh my gosh." I think shaking my head. "Yeah I'm awake and considering where I am I think I know what happened." I say looking at him. "Then I guess there's no need to tell you what happened." He says smiling. "I do have one question though, how did I get here??." I say tilting my head a bit. He sighs and looks at me" I'll tell you."

FLASHBACK(Kai's POV)

Brandi's up to bat and obviously I pay close attention, fuck she looks so beautiful. She swings but misses and all you hear is a thunk then a thud... oh shit the ball hit her right in the forehead... and hard. Everyone is yelling and Iris is screaming. AJ. Iris, and I run to Brandi. "Teacher can we please carry her to the nurse?!" AJ asks. They nod their head and Iris and AJ hold onto Brandi and we go to the nurse, my excuse to as to open all the doors for them. As we're in the hallway to the nurse Iris drops Brandi. "Iris what the fuck!" AJ yells at her dropping Brandi as well. "I'm sorry but she's so heavy! I don't know where she has all that weight since she looks like a fucking scarecrow." Iris says defending herself. They both start arguing but I'm more worried about Brandi. Since it's not that far I just pick up Brandi and carry her bridal style. "Alright, let's go." I say walking. I don't turn around but I just know that AJ and Iris are smiling like crazy. AJ opens the door and I lay Brandi on the bed. I see that her shirt was lifted a but so I pull it down. "Ohhh I see you Kai, didn't peg you the type to take advantage of girls when they're unconscious."AJ says while smirking. "We won't tell Brandi anything." Iris says winking. They leave the room and when I turn around I see them huddled at the window door. "Jesus Christ." I say sighing and shaking my head. I sit across from the unconscious Brandi and wait till she wakes up. After 5 minutes I see her shuffle and open her eyes. "You're awake." I say."

End of Flashback ( Brandi's Pov)

I'm so glad I'm black cause he can't see me blush but just so you know, I'm blushing. "Thank you for carrying me in here, I'll get Iris back for dropping me don't worry." I say giving a nervous chuckle. He laughs, "It's alright don't worry about it, but you could repay me." He says staring at me. "How can I?" I say. He stands up and walks right up to me. I scoot back to the wall till my back and the wall touch and he stays at the edge of the bed, still staring. Putting both hands on the bed he says, "Go out with me."
