"Brandi, what's your relationship with that guy from the bleachers." One of the juniors say. "Oh jeez, lord have mercy". I think to myself.
I turn around and Zoe, the main junior staring at me with her arms crossed, the other two on each side of her. "Uhm, we only just met today." I say "Also, it's none of your business what our relationship is, it won't effect you." The three just stare as I walk back to my locker and get dressed. Iris, AJ, and I leave the school and go to the bleachers. As we're walking up, three of the four friends, Leila, Celia and Aspen walk up to us. "Hey, my mom texted me saying that Leila and I have to go home." Aspen says "Mine too, I have to babysit my siblings." Celia says. We all say our goodbyes and they wave off and go to the front to call an Uber. "Sooo, it'll just be the 4 of us!" AJ says while dangling her keys and with a smile. "Let's go!"
At the diner....
We're sitting at a window booth, Iris and AJ on one side and Kai and I on the other. A waitress comes up to us and takes our order. When she was taking our order, she kept getting lost cause she was looking at Kai.... great. When she leaves, Iris is the first to speak. "Looks like you've got admirers." she says. Kai laughs and shakes his head "I don't know about all that but I guess I turn heads." He says smirking. AJ then let's out a "hmp" and flips her hair. "Baby girl I turn heads." She says. We laugh and after 15 minutes pass, our food comes.
