Walking to the football field wasn't easy, Iris and AJ were walking with me and wouldn't stop talking. "He's definitely going to ask you!" Iris said. "Obviously he is, why else would they be meeting??" AJ adds. "Listen," I say. "I'm stressing right now okay? I'm overthinking EVERYTHING... my mind going to soo many places I just need quiet." I say. They both look at me and continue to speak. When we got to the football field, we stared in awe. There's this big paper mache heart and Kai's in the middle. "Oh shit I need to go." I say trying to run. AJ and Iris both drag me to the field. "Guys guys I'm getting nervous please." I say pleading. "Brandi we're not going to let you ruin this." Iris say. "Shut up and walk." When we're in the middle they step back and record while I take a few more steps till I'm face to face with Kai. "Hi." I say awkwardly waving, staring down. He tilted my head up with his hand. "Hey." He said back. "Baby I know this isn't the most extravagant and flamboyant promposal but would you go to prom with me?" He says staring in my eyes. I stare back and I swear his eyes glistened. I nod my head and say yes and the biggest smile comes across his face. "I promise you that'll be the best night of your life." He says. He goes in and we share a passionate kiss. "I can't wait for what comes after prom." He whispers in my ear, winking at me. My eyes go wide and I immediately walk away without looking at him. 'Oh shit oh shit oh shit.' I think over and over. AJ and Iris know somethings up cause they start smirking and smacking my back. "I guess loverboy wants to "hang out" after prom huh." AJ says laughing. "Shut up it's not funny! I'm not ready NO....I'm scared! WAIT I have to prepare!" I say starting at them. "If you're not ready he'll understand." Iris says calming me down. "You're right." I say "But what if I am ready?" "Then you better prepare now, you have 5 days!" AJ says slinging an arm over my shoulder.
