Weeks pass after Kai and I talked under the bleachers. We go on dates almost every week, making tonight being our fourth since that day. As Iris and AJ were helping me get ready for my date, Iris came to realize something. "Brandi?" She asks. "Yeah Iris?" I say. "What if Kai asks you officially to be his girlfriend?" She says. " Oh yeahh! What if he does?" AJ chimes. I look at both of them with a stupid look on my face then come to the realization.." Ohh yeah I'm canceling tonight." I say getting my phone from my nightstand. AJ yanks my phone out of my hands and Iris hold me down so I don't fight for my phone. "Brandi, you always complain about not having a boyfriend and now a guy actually likes you, you're going on this date." She says firmly. "Listen, I know I bitch about wanting one but now that I might get one, I'm getting nervous! What if I throw up or something??" I say. Iris and AJ both look at each other then at me. "Brandi," Iris says putting her hand on my shoulder, "you won't throw up, you'll be fine now get ready." I sigh and put on my outfit, I'm wearing a white tee, biker shorts with a floral cami dress on top, and my converses. He rings the bell and I go on my date.
After the date.....
I open my door and go to my room. I change into comfy clothes and FaceTime Iris and AJ. "Heyy how did the date go!" Iris says. "It went fine, we both had a good time." I say. "Soooo..... did he ask??" AJ asks. I nod aggressively and smile and they start screaming. "OMG OMGG, you have a boyfriend!" Iris says. "Wow you have a boyfriend! That's crazy." AJ says. I smile to myself just thinking of all the cute couple things we'll do, holding hands, cuddling, etc. We stay on call for two extra hours then hang up and go to bed.
