Chapter 12

I just stare at him, speechless. He asked me out.... he asked me out. "You okay?? You don't have to answer now you know." He says concerned. I realize that I've been staring this entire time. "I'll go out with you." I blurt out. Not only was he shocked, Iris, AJ, and I were also shocked. Iris and AJ have both their jaws open and were hitting each other on the arm. He smiled and backed off, helping me off the bed. "I'll text you more about the date, I think you should worry about those two for now." He said as he was pointing at the door. Iris was huffing at the door window while AJ was behind her, smacking her back. We leave the nurses office and go back to gym.

                               AFTERSCHOOL....

"BRANDI DID HE TEXT YET?!" Iris yells. "Okay 1 we're indoors and even though we're home alone, stop yelling." I say, "and 2, no, not yet." "Well he better text fast or I'll make him text back." AJ says. My phones ringer is off so if I get a text it'll go off, we head a ding. In an instant we all run to my phone, me being successful. "WHAT DID HE SAY WHAT DID HE SAY!" Iris yells. "Let me check!" I say. I go and check the text.

Hey Brandi, for our date do you wanna go to a drive-in movie? I'll bring the blankets and snacks and I'll pick you up, what are your fav snacks?

"AJ GIVE ME MY FUCKING PHONE!" I yell. She swiped my phone and Iris held me down. AJ was laughing and gave me my phone, I see what she last texted and flipped shit. I threw my phone on my bed and went in a corner. "Brandi it's okay, all you have to worry about is that date!" AJ said as she went through my closet. "Time to get you an outfit!" She yelled.
