It's been three weeks since graduation and each day had been better than the last, with the exception of the constant reminder in my head that as the days keep moving I'm getting another day closer to goodbye.

There wasn't much time to ponder on that today though as we both packed our suitcases for family vacation.

Like last year our families had decided to go together. Unlike last year however, we were staying in the country and heading to the beach for a week.

"You ready!" Riley asked as I zipped up my suitcase.

"Yeah, let's go." I smiled at him as he kissed my forehead and took my bags.

We met our families at Riley's parents house and while most of them fit into two cars, we decided to ride alone. Most places we could walk too in Edisto, but Charleston wasn't far and there was a few places I really wanted to see while we were out that way.

"So mom said it will pretty much be the same as last year, everyone has their own room to share. Apparently our parents rented a nice beach house." He explained as we hit the highway east towards the beach. Six hours to go.

"Do you know if my brother is coming?" I asked as I fiddled with my thumbs. After the drama last year I didn't know if I could stand another awkward vacation, especially since Riley was leaving soon.

"Yeah him and Grace are meeting everyone there. Listen it won't be like last year, I mean what are they going to say. It's not like we are as innocent as we were back then." He put a hand over mine and rubbed my knuckles gently.

I took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "Your right, plus nothing they say makes a difference to anything. Thanks." I smiled.

We stopped for gas and snacks about half way there and then listened to the radio as we both sang along and ate gummy worms and Haribo bears.

It was late afternoon when we finally arrived at the beach house. As Riley cut off the car I played with the last gummy worm in the bag.

"Is that the last one?" He asked.

"Yeah why?"

"Can I have it?" He pouted in a mock sad face.

"No, but we can share it on one condition..." I flirted as he watched me move it closer to my mouth. "You have to come get it." I grinned putting one end in my mouth.

He laughed before grabbing the other end of the gummy worm and working his way towards me until our lips brushed. Once we had both swallowed our piece his hands cupped my face and he pulled me back to him in a soft embrace that left my head spinning.

The tender strokes of his tongue on mine mixed with the gentle caress of his fingers in the side of my cheek let me escape reality for a few blissful moments until someone beat on the window, causing us both to jump apart.

"Damn Britt at least wait until you get into your room!"

I didn't have to turn or react to know it was my idiot brother standing outside the car. "Let the family fun week begin!" I rolled my eyes before Riley smiled and kissed me again.

Reluctantly I stepped out of the car as the smell of salt water and ocean breeze drafted through my nose before it was overcome with sweaty man odor that was Levi.

"I missed you sis!" He crushed me in his arms.

"Get off me Levi!" I screamed, muffled by his broad chest. When did he get so buff? "Hi grace!" I smiled hugging her gently when Levi released me.

"Riley! My man! Did you finally make an honest woman out of my sister or are we still waiting?" Levi teased.

"Are we really doing this again! Holy crap Levi I swear you're obsessed! But yes we have sex now, no it's still not your business!" I yelled grabbing Riley's hand as grace shook her head disapprovingly.
