*Emmie's POV*

"Em, I'm boredddd!" Harper said for the hundredth time.

"I know, you've told me about a million times," I said frustrated.

"Ugh!" She wined and slumped off the couch and onto the floor. I laughed at her after she banged her head on the glass table. "Don't laugh!" She said.

"Well okay miss priss," I chuckled.

"You're mean!" She shoved me with one hand and held her head with the other. "I want mommy and daddy!"

"Oh my god! Please stop whining. Tara!" I yelled.

"Okay, what's all the yelling about? Your baby sister is trying to sleep." She plopped down on the couch next to me.

"I'm bored!" Harper said again. She propped her arms up on Tara's knees and made a pouty face.

"Alright, now I'm gonna teach you a game that was the coolest thing when I was a kid," Tara said. "It's called pattycake."

"You know that was never really cool," I whispered.

"Yeah well if I tell her that, then she will think it is," Tara mumbled back. "Now Harper, you start like this."

And for the next hour that's what we did, and it was a horrible mistake. Now she wanted to play over and over again.

"Maybe tomorrow I'll teach you now to play a game called concentration," Tara said.

"Emmie can you play that?" Harper asked and tucked a piece of her blond hair behind her ear.

"Yep. Here Tara, let's play," I said. Harper watched intently as we played over and over again as if it were the best thing in the world.

Suddenly I felt hands on my shoulders and heard a familiar voice say, "Can I play?"

I whipped around. "Mommy!" I jumped off the back of the couch in into her arms. She stumbled back a bit but then regained her balance.

"Daddy!" Harper squealed and jumped onto him.

"I'm sorry momma, I didn't mean to leave you!" I chocked out and held in my tears.

"No it's okay honey, it doesn't matter cause in here now," she said. "I would rather you be safer than me."

"Love you, momma," I sniffled.

"Love you too, Em."

*Glenn's POV*

Maggie and I had managed to get a room to ourselves for the night which was nice.

I took off my shirt and threw it onto the floor, leaving me only in my sweatpants. I glanced over at Maggie to see her just staring blankly at herself in the mirror. I made my way to her and wrapped my arms around her waist.

"You okay?" I asked and she rubbed my arms.

Maggie hesitated. "Yeah, I'm fine."

I bent my head down and kissed her favorite spot on her neck. She let out a tiny moan causing me to chuckle against her skin.

"You know I have to ask," I said and she sighed. "What did-"

She turned to face me. "Nothing worse than what the governor did to me back at Woodbury. Don't worry," she said. "I'm okay. Just a bit shaken, that's all. I'll be better by tomorrow."

My hand softly caressed her cheeks and I pressed my lips onto hers. When I pulled away, I smiled down at her. "What I wouldn't do to keep you and our kids safe."

She pressed her head to my chest and hugged my waist. "I love you so godamn much Glenn."

"Not as much as I love you Maggs," I said and held her for what I wished could've been forever.

*Emmie's POV*

"You know Emmie, if you sit still this would go a lot faster," mom said.

"But I hate getting my hair cut!" I said and slumped down in the chair.

"Yeah but if it get to long then a walker could grab it," she said and snipped another piece off.

"It's not too long," I whined.

"Em, it's almost down to your waist," Tara said.

I stuck my tongue out at her and she laughed.

"Alright Em, if you sit still and stop complaining until your mom is done then.......I'll take you out and teach you to use a crossbow," Daryl said.

My mouth dropped open. "Your crossbow?!" I asked loudly. "But you don't let anyone touch that!"

"Yeah well I'll let you touch my crossbow as long as you clean it after," he said making everyone laugh. Then he went back to polishing his crossbow.
