I stepped outside the door and into the cool air, looking around at everyone. Rick and the others somehow found a van while they were on their run and Abraham managed to get a smaller truck working that he found in a shed next to the house. It seemed to be all luck, but I know that our luck will run out soon.
I continued to stand outside the doorway while everyone packed up what we had left. I should've been happy about finding two vehicles, but somehow a frown seemed to spread across my face.
"Hey," Glenn said as he came up behind me with Mia in his arms. "You okay?"
I gave him a fake smile. "Just fine." He kissed my cheek and I smiled for real this time.
"Ma!" Mia babbled and clapped her hands together.
"Hi baby!" She reached out and I took her from Glenn. Her little head rested on my shoulder and made my heart melt.
"I'm gonna help Rick and Daryl," Glenn said.
I lightly grabbed his arm and pulled him back. "Wait, hold up a second." He gave a slightly confused look before I leaned in a placed a kiss on his lips. Glenn let out a tiny laugh and pressed his lips to my cheek one last time before continuing to help Rick.

"Mom, where are we even going?" Emmie asked from next to me.
I stroked her hair and replied, "I actually don't know honey." She pressed her lips into a flat line and nodded before turning back to look out the car window with a sigh.
Silence filled the truck as we drove down the long road. I quickly glanced around the car. Abraham was driving, Sasha was in the passanger seat, Emmie was by the window to my left, Dylan to my right, and we somehow managed to squeeze Rosita in next to Dylan as well. Glenn was sitting in the tailgate of the truck, just in case someone attacks so he can let us know. We left Harper and Mia in the bigger can with everyone else cause it just seemed safer.
I snapped my attention back to reality and thought about what Emmie asked. "Abraham?" I asked.
Abraham didn't take his eyes off the road as he answered with, "There a problem?"
"Where are we going?" He still didn't look at me, but this time he didn't reply also. "Abraham?!" I saw him quickly glance back through the tear view mirror, but once he saw me looking, he directed his eyes back to the road. "Give me the map."
"No," he stated flatly.
"Abraham just let her see the map," Rosita cut in.
Once again, he didn't say a thing. Rosita reached forward and grabbed the map before Abraham could do anything. She handed it to me and glared at Abraham.
My jaw dropped at the sight of it. "No," I said sternly. "We are not doing this, we are not turning around and backtracking." I couldn't do that, I couldn't go back and be forced to pass by everywhere we have made a home in. It would kill me on the inside.
"Rick said to go this way. Rick said-" I cut him off.
"I don't care what Rick said I just can't do this." I felt Emmie grab my hand and by the look on her face, I knew that she didn't want to go back and have that feeling either.
"We aren't turning around."
"Stop the car and let me talk to Rick!" I almost yelled.
"No!" Abraham and I started to yell back and forth.
"Abraham look out," Emmie said but the two of us kept on fighting. "Abraham!" We still didn't bother to listen to Emmie. "ABRAHAM WATCH OUT!"
I finally looked where Emmie was pointing to see walkers next to an old car wreck. Then all of a sudden the car hit a couple of walkers and the car went flying. The last thing I remembered was feeling a sharp pain in my stomach and pressing my fingers to it, feeling blood and then.........darkness.
A/N I'm soooooo sorry that this chapter is so shitty and short but I'm going through a horribly rough time and it's really hard to keep going at the moment so I might not update as much.
