I struggled to get free from the mans grasp and tried to yell out which did nothing considering they had gagged me. I kicked his shin but it didn't seem to do much damage to the muscular man.
"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" Elena cried and her eyes pleaded for me to forgive her. She had been working with these people. What confused me was that they were dragging her along just as rough as me. "I'm sorry!" She was then gagged and tied to a chair next to me.
"I told you not to talk to them!" I tall man yelled at Elena. He must be the leader. "I told you to let us get them here and let us kill them! Now we have to fucking figure out how to make it seem like the boy is fine so they won't be on to us!"
I gave up trying to get the knots undone around my wrists. The man angrily gripped his hair and smacked Elena on her cheek, leaving a puffy mark. "You stupid little girl! Now you're one of them. You'll die with them."
*Glenn's POV*
The rays of sunlight shining through the window practically blinded me the next morning when I first woke up. My arms were still tightly wrapped around Maggie with her hand gripping mine. I nuzzled my face in the crook of her neck and lightly kissed it. When I began to suck at the skin she let out a lite giggle. Her hand pushed my face up.
"You'll leave a mark," she said and I hovered over her.
"That's the point. I need everyone to know you're mine," I said quietly and she lightly brushed the hair that was dangling down over my face behind my ear.
"I'm pretty sure everyone knows that," she laughed.
"They better." I leaned down and pressed my lips onto hers. They were soft and warm and she lightly grabbed my hair.
"I love you," she breathed out.
"Love you too." I pulled away and propped myself up on my elbow. "I really need to thank Carl."
"Why?" She asked.
"For getting shot." She laughed at my answer. "If he hadn't of gotten shot, I would never of met you and I wouldn't have Harper, or Mia, or Dylan. My perfect little family."
"Then yes. We probably should thank him," she said and we both laughed.
Then Harper started to squirm in her sleep, letting out tiny cries.
"Nightmare," I commented.
"I got it," she said and sat up.
"Thanks babe." I pecked her lips and got up out of 'bed'.
Today's the day we have the run to find the cafeteria. Maggie and I were both going which is the first time in a while we are both leaving the kids. I have no clue how it will go but Carol's gonna watch them.
I went over to the windowsill where my bag was, and I made sure everything was packed.
Ammo
Little but of food
Some water
Guns
Knives
Small first aid kit
Flashlight
They were all there. There wasn't much else I needed but that was the basics.
I looked back to find Maggie asleep again with Harper in her arms. Mia was in her 'crib', Emmie was to Maggie's left, and Dylan was.......not there.
I went to where he sleeps and saw his gun and knife gone. On his pillow was a small sheet of paper. I picked it up and carefully unfolded it. Scribbled on the paper was a note:
Mom and Dad,
Didn't feel great so I went outside in the courtyard for some fresh air. I need to clear my mind and think about some things so please don't bother me. I know we cleared it all out and it should be safe, but I took my weapons just in case. I promise I'll be back soon.
-Dylan
I was a bit suspicious about this. He has been acting weird so maybe he is actually sick. Seems to all add up. I'll just tell Maggie when she gets up and see what she thinks. I'm not very worried considering we clears this place out and the gates are locked. It's just like walking around at the prison.

We were about to leave for the run. Dylan still isn't back yet but it's only been thirty minutes since I read the note. I grabbed my bag and went to say bye. Maggie handed me Mia.
"By baby girl. Daddy will be back soon. I promise," I said and she smiled.
"Dada!" She squealed and made me smile. She says simple things now like mama and dada.
"And you have all the formula over in the corner and the bottles. The pacifiers are in the bag and-" I cut a frantic Maggie off by putting a hand on her shoulder.
"It's okay Maggs. Calm down," I laughed.
"I know I'm just....nervous about leaving my babies," she said.
"I'll take good care of them," Carol said as I gave her Mia.
I felt someone grab my leg. Harper was wrapped around my leg, hugging it. "Hi!" She laughed.
I lifted her in my arms. "Hi." I tapped her nose and she giggled. "Bye Harper."
"Bye daddy! Be safe!"
"I will baby," I replied and she gave me a little kiss.
I then went to Emmie who had he arms crossed and looked upset.
"What's wrong?" I asked and knelt down in front of her.
"You said you wouldn't leave again," she said and uncrossed her arms.
"I'm not leaving." She gave me a puzzled look and motioned to everyone saying bye. "I'm not leaving the school grounds. So therefore, I'm not leaving."
She playfully punched arm and laughed. "But still," she said.
"I won't be far at all. You could follow me if you wanted to," I said and she opened her mouth to say something but I cut her off. "But don't you dare do that or I'll beat your ass." She smirked and we laughed. "And don't you dare run off."
"Ok fine. I won't run off this time," she laughed. "But just this once!"
I lifted her up and hugged her. "You're growing up too fast," I said.
"LETS GO CINNAMON!" Daryl yelled.
"He's Korean redneck!" Emmie yelled back.
I smiled and kissed her head. "I'll see you soon."
"Okay."
Let's go get some food.
*Dylan's POV*
"And because of you Elena, I had to forge a note excusing Dylan's absence and I could've been caught!" The leader yelled. He had beaten Elena and now her face is puffy and bleeding.
What are we gonna do?
