It had been a couple of weeks since the group had confessed all to each other.

They were throwing themselves into work; Harry in meetings organising stuff for his new album, Niall doing the same but also going for drinks with another showbiz pal, Lewis Capaldi.

Niall excitedly recalled the events in the group chat a couple of days after. They'd been to a karaoke bar and insisted that the four of them would have to go, when they were all together again.

Shayla was busy assisting on some photo shoots. Mainly on location around the UK so had rarely been at home. She was missing her little cosy nest and her friends too. And of course Harry, the relationship was still so new and at a pivotal moment.

They were both so busy though, they were only really talking in rushed texts and calls. Trying to get them in when they had a spare moment.

It seemed to be working however. Both characteristically independent so the distance wasn't too bad.

Heather was in the process of signing a record deal. Niall had been an absolute saint and helped pull some strings. However, she had done all the graft and hard work. Niall just cared so much that he wanted to help her achieve her dreams.

She was back in Australia at the moment. Catching up with some friends and family before the madness began.

"I can't wait till you're back here! I'm so proud of you! A week long celebration is needed!" Shayla exclaimed to Heather on FaceTime.

Her phone was propped up against the fruit bowl, that lay on the kitchen island. She was currently in a little studio apartment. Everyone working on the current shoot had their accommodation all paid for, and it was definitely one of the more swish deals.

Heather laughed in response.

"Only a week. Niall won't have that. It'll be a month at least."

Shayla beamed at the mention of Niall. They hadn't really gotten to speak much about their blossoming relationships.

"True. So, how are things with you and Niall?" she smirked. Wanting to know all the juicy gossip.

"Good. It's hard though, we're both super busy and not in the same country. I miss him a lot." she sighed, looking defeated.

Shayla knew exactly how she felt, well apart from the different countries part. Harry was still in the UK but incredibly busy. She didn't mind, she loved that Harry was passionate and worked so incredibly hard. She just wished they could see other a little more sometimes.

"You're bound to. I mean long distance is always tough but I have faith in you both. You're both strong and I'm sure you'll do whatever to keep it going. It's early days still."

"You're right. It's just weird not getting to walk down the road be with him. I'm sure you're feeling it which H too? I know you're not far but always working. Must be tough?" Heather quizzed Shayla. Wanting to distract herself from Niall for a moment.

"Yeah..."

Shayla glanced out of the ceiling to floor length windows. The view she had was stunning. The Dorset coast stretched far across the horizon and the sea with it. She'd finished up the last day of shooting today, but didn't have to leave for the next shoot until tomorrow.

"I text him yesterday and we had a nice conversation. It's different though. I miss his voice. Especially in the mornings." Shayla smirked. Remembering how groggy Harry sounds first thing. It's incredibly endearing, and sexy.

Heather smirked back. Knowing exactly what she was getting at.

"I mean, who doesn't want a half naked Harry Styles, saying sweet nothings in your ear. It's the dream." Shayla continued.

"Oh definitely! You hit the jackpot Shay."

"You too. You get the husky Irish accent. Who doesn't want that?!" Both girls were laughing now.

Realising how lucky they both were to know the guys the way they do. And to have them in their lives. Let alone being romantically involved with them.

A couple of weeks passed by before the group were back together.

"How have we gone this long without seeing each other?" Niall mumbled into Harry's shoulder. They were all in Harry's living room, pulled into a tight group hug.

Laughter and smiles were filling the air.

"I don't know but I've missed this." Heather sniffed as if she was crying.

Harry and Shayla chuckled at their actions and decided to give the two of them some space. So headed into the kitchen to get some drinks.

"Heather, are you crying?" Niall quickly turned his attention to her, pulling the both of them onto the couch.

Heather shrugged it off, not wanting to bring attention to it. She wasn't crying per say just a little emotional. It had been over a month since they'd all been together after all.

"Aww Petal. Hey we're all together now. Did you miss us that much?" Niall teased her. This caused Heather to start laughing at how sweet he was being.

"One guy that I missed a tiny bit more than the others though" she mumbled.

"Hey we heard that!" Shayla shouted from the kitchen.

Both of them laughed at the fact that their two friends were probably listening in.

Niall caught onto what Heather meant by her words and started attacking her face with kisses, and then planted one on her lips.

The sounds of laughing and exaggerated breaths were all that could be heard, as Shayla and Harry made their way back into the living room.

"Look, I get we're all lovey dove-y now and it's great but slow down kids!" Harry chimed, his usual smirk plastered across his face.

"Hey I'm older than you!" Niall bounced back.

"Not by much!" Harry replied and then shrugged it off before placing the glasses he was carrying, down next to the two of them. He then launched his body down on the opposite couch, gesturing for Shayla to sit next to him.

"So, what's the plan for tonight?" Shayla asked, taking a sip of her drink.

Everyone turned their attention to Niall.

"Hey! Why do I always have to plan everything?" he whined.

Heather placed her hand on his cheek.

"Because you're the best at it Ni!" She lovingly spoke.

Harry and Shayla smiled at the cute moment happening in front of them.

"Plus you do already have a plan right? I know you Ni." Harry spoke.

"Ah you got me! Okay so..." he paused for dramatic effect.

"Who's up for some karaoke?!" he shouted.

The room filled with cheers and shouts.
Karaoke it is then.
