The room was packed. All of Heather's closest friends and family were all squished together ready to celebrate this momentous occasion.

Both Harry and Shayla had made their way around the room and made sure everyone was doing okay, offering drinks and trying to be good hosts.

A lot of the party was organised by Heather's team but they'd asked them to pitch in as they knew Heather better than anyone.

Niall: We're just outside. See you soon 🥳 x

"Niall just text me. They're just outside everyone!" Shayla whisper shouted. Everyone excitedly gathered in the middle of the room, trying to speak in hushed tones.

Within a few seconds the door swung and Heather walked through, with an incredibly smiley Niall close behind. Everyone shouted and cheered.

"Are you actually fucking serious? I knew something was up!" Heather exclaimed.

"Niall you bloody liar! You said she didn't know!" Shayla called out. As she made her way over to them and wrapped Heather in a hug. Everyone else did the same.

"I'm so so proud of you! We wanted to do something special. We got everyone that we could in one room to celebrate. Your families here too." Shayla was giddy with excitement.

The room felt electric as everyone chatted away to each other. Heather was making her way around the room trying to talk to everyone. Niall was close behind, always putting his arm around her and stealing kisses when he could.

Shayla watched them both. Seeing the way they just complimented each other. Never taking one another seriously with their banter but knowing the right moments to be serious. They were the perfect match.

An hour or so had passed and Harry was scrolling through his phone. Looking at some of the recent reviews of Heather's upcoming album.

"These reviews are amazing! You're getting 4-5 stars on most of them! I'm so proud!" Harry was sat at one of the tables with Heather and her family. They were taking turns looking through Harry's phone. Picking out their favourite comments.

Harry was beaming. He knew how much this meant to Heather. She was achieving her goals. Something he would always help her do.

Niall and Shayla were included in this. He would do anything for them. Especially Shayla, like he'd told her earlier. She was everything to him. And he wanted to do more than just show her. He just didn't know what.

Speaking of Shayla, both her and Niall were gathered by the drinks table.

"So you're actually doing it tonight? Like right now?!" Shayla was trying to be quiet but the excitement was just too much to handle.

"Sssh! Yepp. Wow I don't think I've ever been this nervous for anything. Not even when I fell over playing golf on tv." Niall was awkwardly playing with the ring on his finger.

Shayla couldn't help but laugh at the memory of Niall stacking it on tv.

"Oi! Don't laugh, I can still feel the bruises now." Niall winced as if he was in pain.

"Dude. It's been years, get over it!"

"What you guys laughing at?" Harry was now stood with them both.

"Just talking about when Niall fell over that time on the golf course." Shayla smiled.

"Ah yes the incident of '15!" Harry looked up as if he was having a flashback. Causing both Niall and Shayla to cry with laughter.

"Hey H. Can I... umm... can I talk to you for a sec? It's kinda important." Niall's demeanour had changed back to being nervous again.

"Sure thing. What's up?"

Shayla sensed she wasn't needed for this and made her way back over to Heather. She was stopped by a couple of people from Heather's team.

"Listen, I would've spoken to you... before about it...but we've... we've all been so busy and... not... not been able to talk. Not that I 'technically' need your blessing... but... but c'mon it's us. Of course I need your blessing." Niall was rambling.

"Ni. Hey breathe. You're not making sense. Blessing? Why would you...? Oh god you're asking for my blessing to propose to my sister aren't you?!" Harry laughed at his own joke. However, as he said those words, it clicked.

"Oh my god! You're gonna propose to Heather?!"
