Things died down eventually. The fans had calmed down after a couple of weeks. They'd gotten used to everything. There was the odd few people still trying to cause drama but what else is new. It was always going to be around but the group had learnt to dismiss it.

Heather and Niall actually did an Instagram Live together when they got back from the honeymoon. Talking to fans and about their music, the wedding and the future. It was amazing to see them be able to do that. To share it with both their fans and followers. To feel comfortable enough.

"How do we do this Jeff?" Shay bit her bottom lip nervously.

"Well, that's up to you both. If you want to you could make a post? Or maybe your families could say something. Either way this news is coming out. Leaked or otherwise. Nothing stays secret for long in this industry. We know this." Jeff spoke.

They'd decided to let the world now the good news. After going for a scan to check everything was going okay and progressing nicely.

They even had a Harmony test done. Just to check further for any problems but luckily, nothing came back.
This Harmony test also meant they got to know the gender. The gender of their baby was written down in an envelope, that sat on their fireplace, along with the sonogram photos.

Harry and Shay glanced at each other.

They were over at Jeff and Glenne's house, sat in Jeff's office. The kids could be heard playing in the background while Glenne was in the kitchen.

"I think... I think we should post it. Maybe be kind of cryptic about it. Make it funny for everyone to figure out." Shay smiled. She'd had some ideas on how to announce the pregnancy to the world, but knew she needed to run it by Jeff first. She didn't want to do anything to jeopardise Harry's career.

Both Jeff and Harry agreed. Liking the idea.

"That's settled then. So you'll post later on today. Gonna be funny to see what you'll post Shay." Jeff chuckled.

"I have some ideas."

"Today?!" Heather exclaimed.

"Yep. I'm just under 5 hours the word will be out there. Well a clue anyway." Shay took a sip of her water.

"This is huge. It makes it all seem real now." Heather beamed.

"Well the sickness and side effects did that for me first." Shay replied. Causing them both to laugh.

She'd been experiencing the usual sickness and tiredness during the pregnancy so far, nothing too crazy. She was lucky in that sense.

"Anyway, you got any plans for any little Horan's to be running around?" Shay teased but genuinely wanted to know.

"One day. We're both so busy with music stuff at the moment it doesn't feel right. We both want to though." Heather proudly replied.

"It'll happen. I can see you with a few kids actually. Ni will be the best dad." Shay cooed.

"Oh I know."

"And you the best mum." Shay put her arm around Heather and pulled her close.

Harry watched Shay as she typed away on her phone.

"So you gonna actually tell me this plan or?"

Shay looked up from her phone and smiled.

"I thought it would be funny to post a picture of Kiwi's with this yellow background, since we are waiting to find out the gender, and then I'll caption it with coming soon?" she paused waiting for Harry's reaction.

He pondered it for a moment and then smirked. Thinking back to the wedding and then all singing Kiwi together.

"I love it! An inside joke between us and those who know, but it's ambiguous enough for fans to freak out. You my love... are a genius!"

Shayla pretended to bow and thank an imaginary audience.

Afterwards, she continued to get ready and hovered over the post button. She started to have doubts.

The whole world was about to start theorising about what this could mean. She knew many would probably just think it was literally about the song Kiwi.

But the fans were clever, incredibly clever so wouldn't take them long to dig deeper and look into everything.

"We don't even know the gender yet. I-I... this feels weird right?" Shayla mumbled.

Harry sighed and pulled her into his body. Holding her tightly.

"Shay. This is our news. You don't have to do this now. Whatever happens, happens. It's just nice to have control over something for once." Harry spoke proudly.

In his life, most things were out of his control. Many times he felt as though his life wasn't his own. This was something he could control though and it felt nice to have that.

"You're right. Let's do this."
