When You're Smiling

It seems the group wanted to leave the city behind and enjoy some peace and quiet for a while.

Niall had seen that a beach cabin in Hampshire was available to rent out so took the plunge. It was also an added bonus that Shay's mum, Mandy, lived in Hampshire. So if they needed a break from the kiddos for a couple hours they could get her to look after them.

The cabin was incredibly rustic and cosy. The patio overlooked the sea with a dining table and some deckchairs. Inside it was warm and homely, complete with wooden fires and beautiful bedrooms.

The group were gathered around the table outside. Haley was on Mandy's lap, Angus on Niall's and then Isla lay in Heather's arms as she fed her.

The sun had started to set but it was still pretty warm.

"I'm so glad we decided to do this. No distractions just sun, sea and great company." Shay smiled.

"I'm still waiting for a thank you, you know!" Niall chimed in. To be fair, he was the one to suggest they all take a break away. Last time they went away together was when Harry and Shay got engaged. Sans the kiddos though.

"Thank you Niall." Shay replied sassily.

"Now was that so hard?" He chuckled. He was watching Angus as he crammed as much food as he could, into his little mouth.

"Slow down bub! You'll choke!" Niall covered Angus' plate so that he could chew on the food.

"Mmmmpf!" Angus mumbled.

All four of them laughed at Angus face. His cheeks were puffed out because of all the food.

"Wait where'd H go?" Mandy looked around.

"Where'd you think?" Shay replied. Gesturing towards the sea.

Low and behold, Harry was wadding in and out of the water.

They all watched him as he walked back in but almost slipped. This caused them all to laugh out loud. Even the kiddos started to laugh.

Harry spun around to check whether they'd seen it.

"I hate you all!" He pointed towards them but had the biggest smile on his face.
